My Favorite Pups

Kelly at My Favorite Pups has been absolutely wonderful to us and our dog — I can’t say enough good things. My husband and I got a puppy last summer — he really wanted one, but had never had a dog before and had no concept of how much work they are. I grew up with dogs and understood the commitment, so it took me a while to agree to get one. When we finally did it, I knew we would need help, because we both had pretty demanding jobs. A friend recommended Kelly and I reached out to her for her Perfectly Pottied program. It was a godsend. She took Barrett to live in her home for 2 weeks, sending her back to us for a couple of nights in the middle so we could continue to bond and practice everything she was teaching us. Barrett came back fully crate trained, sleeping through the night and almost completely potty trained. It was amazing! In addition, Kelly and her team walked Barrett for the next several months until I had a more flexible schedule and she has been our go-​to dog sitter when we go out of town. I love that Barrett is living in her house and playing with her dog and others, rather than being stuck in a smelly kennel for days.
I’m only sorry that they don’t really service Lincoln Park, so Barrett doesn’t get to see Kelly as much as she’d like. Kelly has been a huge help in making Barrett the lovey, quirky dog that she’s grown up to be. We can’t thank her enough.

The Reviews look great on this Unilocal page. I called the phone number and did not receive a call back and I can’t find a website that describes their services. It seems like they had something great a while ago and I have already heard back from the other dog walking services that I called last week. I encourage them to change their voicemail to reflect the business name «My Favorite Pups» so people know they have called the right number.

The second Kelly walks in the door, my dog has eyes for no one but her! My Favorite Pups is absolutely best and I could not be happier with the care and love Kelly has for each of her pups. She and her staff truly go above and beyond.
My boyfriend and I both have full-​time jobs and we were nervous about getting a puppy and leaving her in a crate all day. We found My Favorite Pups and enrolled our new baby in the Puppy Nanny Service. Before we got started, Kelly came over to meet us and the dog and go over everything. I was comforted to see how thorough she was in making sure vaccinations were up to date and understanding the breed’s specific needs. When they say custom care, they really do mean it! Our puppy was 9 weeks old when we started her in the program, and they had such endless patience for her as we worked on potty-​training and crating.
One of the best parts of the service is that they pick up and drop off your pup. It is so incredibly convenient and since we don’t have a car, it is one of the main reasons we picked this company. My other favorite part is that they have an instagram account, which is updated throughout the day so you can see what your dog is up to. I think it’s hilarious to check the account while I’m sitting at my desk and see that my pup is romping around the park. Additionally, they leave a note every day letting me know what time they picked up, dropped off and a little summary of what they did that day. The whole team is amazing at communicating and keeping you informed, which I appreciate so much. I feel totally comfortable letting them have access to my apartment and taking my dog out and about for the day.
I can’t say enough good things about My Favorite Pups! Wish I could give them more than five stars. We are extremely happy with them and will not going anywhere else for any of our doggy needs. Love them!

I always felt 100% when MFP were taking care of my new pup. When I went back to work (in the school system w/summer’s off), Kelly was very efficient at meeting, getting the goods on my new pup & sending everything over in writing. We did QuickPay requests with the bank & with a few clicks each month, all paid up. I was worried about getting a dog walker bc I live in high rise with terrible parking & not fun to retrieve & return the key from the main check-​in. She just had to add a little extra for parking & it was settled. They even leave a little «weekly report» so u can be aware of ur pups bathroom habits for the day. I told everyone in my «dog tower» about her services. I would recommend w/​out hesitation. I will admit I was a little worried about having someone I didn’t know come into my home while I wasn’t there, but honestly didn’t give it a second thought past our first meeting. Only how embarrassed I was from my messy house! I’m glad I found her. Cute colorful flyer in the boutique pet shop– caught my eye & when I made that first call– it just rolled along from there. We only did 3 days a week. And Kelly was still flexible & treated me like any other 5day/​week client, which I was super thankful. My pup goes to doggy daycare the other days of the week so she can get work out & socialize all day. Stop looking and comparing. There’s no need to put yourself through that. And no, I’m not getting any kind of discount for saying all this. In fact, we’ll probably be leaving the area. We’ll miss MFP now that summer is here (& I get to stay home!) & we won’t see Kelly & Alison. I know my pup was happy to see them each time!

Absolutely THE BEST! I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful my favorite pups has been to our puppy Lupe!
We got our lil puppy when he was 8 weeks old and Kelly has been with us since we moved. (So sad to leave my favorite pups and I hope we can find someone nearly as good in our new city!) She is extremely accommodating, understanding, and so sweet to our little guy! She not only took Lupe while we were gone for two weeks but she truly makes the effort to make him comfortable as well as us! She posts pictures on instagram so you can check on your little guy while you are away and leaves notes. She also has helped us to get our Lupe to walk on his leash and potty training.
They really are the best in the city! :-)

Best of the best of the best. Period. My Favorite Pups (owned by the very experienced «dog whisperer» Kelly Morgan) provides customized, concierge services for dogs (and their humans), and she literally made a seemingly impossible transition, VERY possible and seamless for me and my family. We got so much more than what we had even hoped and signed up for, that I am compelled to share our experience:
The Background:
— We adopted a new puppy.
— We also have a two-​year-​old, & lived in a 3^rd-​floor condo in a walk-​up in the city.
— We were selling that home (planning a cross-​country move), & needed it to be spotless & accessible for showings.
— Because of all this, we needed help to get our new pup potty-​trained, leash-​trained, socialized with animals and humans, crate trained, and last but not least — airline carrier trained so he could ride underneath the seat in front of me for a three-​hour flight.
Now, I’m not a lazy person. I’ve potty trained my own dogs before, and I’ve had dogs my whole life. But when you add in the fact that I now have a two-​year-​old, AND we were living in a third-​floor condo in a walk-​up in the city, AND we were planning the cross-​country move on top of it — that makes for a very stressful and overwhelming situation.
And then in walks Kelly, with her amazing plan for us and our pup! Like an angel from Heaven — just kidding — no, but really.
We enrolled our pup in her Perfectly Pottied Program — a two-​week program in which our pup would live with her, and learn from her and her pack (aka, other dogs). This is like having a nanny and a night nurse — but for your dog. Our pup was immersed in her world — with constant reinforcement on good behavior; social outings with other dogs, and to people places; and so much more. It was rigorous. And it worked.
This is hands-​down the best money I’ve spent in a long time — and I’ve spent a lot of money on a lot of things.
Our results?
1 — Our pup was delivered to us fully potty trained, crate trained, socialized, and ready to fly on a plane and ride in a car.
2 — He slept the entire three-​hour flight. You would have never known we had a dog on the plane.
3 — He was consistently sleeping 9.5 hours at night, allowing us to get a full night’s rest. He wasn’t barking to go outside, which would have awoken our 2-​year-​old son.
4 — He is well socialized with other dogs.
5 — He is well socialized with people.
6 — He is fully crate trained — and for those of you who don’t know, this is a life saver. If you don’t know about it, call Kelly and find out more.
7 — He can ride in a car without freaking out and distracting you, the driver.
8 — He is so advanced as far as his potty training goes. He doesn’t have accidents in the house, and is going hours without having to go out.
I just can’t say enough good things about Kelly and her assistant, Allison. They literally saved us. There is so much more I want to write about their services, but I just don’t have the space here.
Without My Favorite Pups, I’m not sure we could have even gone through with the puppy adoption at that particular point in time, as logistically, we wouldn’t have been able to make it work.
I will continue to utilize Kelly’s services when we come back in town, as we will still be in Chicago part of the year. And I whole-​heartedly recommend her to anyone for anything you might need. Potty training, behavior training/​correction, etc.
Do yourself a favor — if you adopt a new dog, or if you need help with your current dog — hire Kelly and My Favorite Pups.

Kelly and her crew are the best in the business. It is not questionable. If you are looking for a walker, nanny, or overnight boarding… don’t ask yourself twice on who to use. Kelly will take care of your dog like she is the owner. THE BEST!

I love them! I was living in the West Loop when I adopted my pup Chewy, and I needed some general guidance with his training and a daily walker. I stopped into a local pet store and saw business cards for multiple companies. My Favorite Pups had the best reviews and seemed very unique.
I contacted Kelly, and she set up a meet and greet with me, Chewy & her assistant, Allison. It went so well that I started service the following week. Allison took on Chewy 5 days a week, walking him and working on his leash manners. I was struggling greatly with his training on my own. After only a couple weeks of walks with her, I noticed a huge difference with him on our walks. He was no longer dragging me down the street or lunging at everything he saw. She sent me awesome updates and photos, and gave me lots of helpful tips. I recently had to move out to the suburbs and am working from home. I still use all of her helpful tips and contact her with any questions I have! She always has the answers I need!
For anyone who is living in the city and is looking for an amazing walker who offers MUCH MUCH more than your average walker, Chewy & I highly recommend My Favorite Pups. Kelly and Allison will not let you down!!!

Kelly is AMAZING. This was the first time we used a dog sitting service and I must say I’m glad we selected her. Our mean 15 year old cat even like her and he likes nobody We will be using her services again. Thanks Kelly!

Kelly is great. She comes when she says she will, is open to unexpected changes and is helping my Otto learn some better leash manners. I am looking forward to a long association with Kelly and My Favorite Pups.

I couldn’t be happier with our dog walker/​trainer, Kelly. She walks our two Boston Terriers everyday and has made it infinitely easier. I can now walk them on my own without any issues. After Kelly began working her magic, our pups stopped lunging at strangers and kids. We are extremely happy with her and don’t plan on finding anyone else anytime soon.
