Murray’s Tavern

My friend and I came here on the «little bars we’ve never been to in our neighborhood pubcrawl.» This is a nice mix of Irish immigrants and established locals. The bar is clean, has $ 2 beers everyday and scotch is $ 4 a glass. It looks like a shady biker bar from the front, but it’s pleasantly nice inside.
This little tavern has bags in the backyard, a nice table for chilling, and they provide free food once in a while grilled up by one of the patrons. Mrs. Murray is an older woman that lives upstairs, I have to still meet her. It’s like being at a house party with the big backyard, barbecue grill and bag pit.
I’d recommend this place if you are looking for a new watering hole with great people that are very welcoming. The bartender has been the same woman each time and she is on top of her game.
