Really nice and accommodating people. I came in after a car hit me while biking and damaged my front wheel. They were friendly and efficiently inspected and tried to fix the spoke alignment.
After determining that new wheel was needed, they immediately put in an order for the part and charged a reasonable price after very speedy service. Highly recommended (particularly over other downtown bike shops with major ‘tudes)

Great people, great service! They truly care about their customers, and will go out of their way to help. I bought a rear wheel for my bike from Mox a couple of months ago. I recently started seeing an issue where my bike chain would go slack when I was coasting or pedaling backwards. After some googling I diagnosed the problem as being an issue with the freehub assembly (part of the rear wheel). I took my bike back into Mox to have them take a look. They confirmed that there was indeed a problem with the free hub and replaced my wheel free of charge, no questions asked or hassle given. I was expecting to have argue to get the issue resolved, but was pleasantly surprised with the courtesy and level of service. Mox is an awesome bike shop, and I will continue to be a loyal customer!

Who’s the most knowledgeable about bikes, that you would rely on for advice? People who race bikes, of course. And that’s what everyone at this shop does. They know their stuff because cycling literally runs in their blood. Great experience buying a bike here, and an even better experience getting it fit by someone that just knows what their doing. The bike felt 100% better after the fit, and it was already nearly perfect prior to the fitting. I’m sure I’ll be here often as I get more into this awesome sport. Thanks Troy and Matt!

Was looking for a new Bike and was recommended to Mox by a friend. Mox’s customer service through the decision process of what type/​brand/​style to get was spectacular. They did a lot to educate me on what the types of bikes are and make sure I was picking the right bike for my riding style. Then they took me through the sizing to get right frame (for the brand/​model bike I picked… its not just cookie cutter). Then they put me on the bike for a sizing. Few small tweaks and the bike fits great. I even had a small mishap shortly after leaving the shop and they hooked me up with a quick fix and a new chain.
The entire process was very relaxed, no pressure to buy something. Was much more a collaboration than a sales pitch. I will continue to work with Mox in the future.

I am a super bike novice, in that I know how to ride my bike but I do not know anything about the bike itself. My tire felt weird on my ride this morning and it looked damaged. I called to see how long it would take to get my tire replaced. They seemed incensed that I would presume it would take a while. Little did they know, I was basing my presumption on past experiences with other bike shops.
My experience was nothing short of amazing. They were very polite and friendly. I showed up, there was a little panic that the tire I needed wasn’t in stock, the crisis was swiftly averted and BAM, THREE MINUTES LATER I was walking out with a new tire installed on my bike.
It was easily, fast, friendly, and awesome. You should ignore any negative, overly sensitive reviews that appear before this one.
OH! And the nice lady who changed my tire even showed me what to do in case I want to do i myself next time!

A few blocks away from the Willis Tower, where I was on my way to work a 16hr shift, my wheel starts wobbling and rubbing on my rear brake. I could feel something was wrong and was nervous to keep riding for fear that my wheel might fall off. The closest bike repair shop was Mox’s. I rode in and Amy was super helpful in identifying the problem. a broken spoke. They charged me a very fair price to fix the bike and then they offered to drop the bike off at my work later so I could get to work on time! This goes way above and beyond the call of duty! These guys are top notch and saved me from what could have been a really bad day. I wholeheartedly endorse this repair shop and can’t wait to go back when I have more time to check out their awesome bikes and gear! Thanks again, Amy, you’re the best!

What a great experience I just had. I rolled in with a minor pedal crank problem. They greeted me promptly and dropped what they were doing to see what the problem was. The repair was cheerfully done on the spot without having to come back. I’ll be returning there for all my bike repairs.

Mox is where I go for my triathlon needs. I bought a used bike so I have not purchased a full ride from them, but pretty much all of my other gear is Mox. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Most of them seem to be experienced and enthusiastic so they have been able to point me in the right direction. Also seems like they really enjoy working there. They’ve even thrown in some free gear a couple of times.

What a accommodating and experienced bike shop. The entire staff, Amy, Troy and Marcus serviced me with class. Ordered a Pinarello Dogma 65.1 several weeks ago. The fitting and assembly was spot on. Given my bike mechanic background I am a good judge off skill set. I highly recommend Mox if you are looking for a bike that fits you property high end to just a casual cruiser. Amy keep up the stellar work.

First time here today. I live right around the corner and didn’t know this place was here — I shouldve known! Overall the place doesn’t have a lot of merchandise, but they do have a ton of pre-​made bikes on their walls. Although, it seems to me that they focus on serious, competitive grade bikes. This place isn’t meant for the average consumer.
The people (AMY!) that work in here are awesome. They’re very relatable and love to spend time with you. On top of this, they’re community friendly. When I went in the had a boy scout troupe in, earning their badges in bike repair.
The place is a bit of a mess, but that’s because they’re constantly working on bikes, helping customers build and setting up spin classes.
Despite the relative concerns of mine this place rocks and can help you find anything.

Above and beyond customer service; I got the road bike and love it! Every time I come in there, they all call me by name and are so nice. Great mechanics, reasonably priced! Cannot say enough about MOX!

Came in to buy a cap for my tire and they did not sell them. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered some free ones from their stash in the back area where they have the maintenance department.
If this is the kind of treatment you get when you are not even a customer, I can only imagine how they treat their customers :-)

A zipper busted on my wetsuit that was still under warranty. Mox sent it off to 2XU for a repair or replacement evaluation free of charge. The zipper was not replaceable so they replaced my suit with a new 2013 model! Thanks guy :)

I’ll attempt to hit all major points in a single review. Let me begin by saying I’ve been a patron of Mox for over a year, but just recently purchased two bikes from them.
The first bike I purchased from Mox was a Felt ZW95 for my girlfriend for our anniversary. Since the bike was going to be a surprise, we didn’t have her available for a fit, but I wanted to have something to present her with the day of the anniversary. Mox was extremely understanding and I took an educated guess on her size and brought the bike home with me. (She loved the bike by the way). The following day, I brought her into the store and we performed a full fitting to get her comfy and settled. They handled the situation superbly and even offered to switch sizes on the bike in the case the fit is off (show me another shop that will do this after the sale).
The second bike I purchased was my Felt AR. It was time to retire my Cannondale (carbon was cracking near the seat clamp and I was having a hard time with warranty through another store). I specifically went back to Mox for this bike because I liked the service when purchasing my girlfriends bike. With the purchase of my bike they offered to swap all the hardware from my CDale to the Felt for free. In addition we went through the entire fit and they swapped stems and even gave me a free carbon conical headset spacer (factory was a 25 mm spacer but I wanted to drop down to 15mm). Over time I came back for a few more ‘touch up’ fits where we tweaked the cleats, saddle fore/​aft, and bar height a few millimeters at a time. I don’t have a trainer at home so I was gracious they would do this for me. As anyone who rides regularly knows, nailing that initial fit almost never happens in a single sitting, there’s always those tiny adjustments to get exactly where you want.
Lately I’ve been building these bikes with Mox, coming in every-​so-​often, purchasing a nicer component and getting it installed. This is where we talk about component sales. They don’t BS you. First, these guys know their stuff. The knew the exact compatibility of my components with the upgrades I was looking at. In addition, they’ll be honest and tell you if something is excessive. They’ve saved me money for thing’s I honestly didn’t need. Rare to find a shop that will downsell you if it’s in your best interest.
Finally let’s talk about service. I had my cassette, brakes, rear dérailleur, and pedals lifted off my old bike when I purchased the new one. The work was flawless and the bike came out shifting like a champion. Over the past months I’ve had them replace the front dérailleur, chain, bottom bracket, and crankset. Once again, everything has come out perfect.
In summary, I have purchased 2 road bikes, gotten multiple fits, and serviced 8 components at Mox. I have had the full experience, from buying a bike, getting service, and buying parts/​accessories. They know what they are doing, and they are the only ones I trust.

This place has incredible service. I rode past this place on my bike to check it out but they just closed. I was looking through the window or at the posted store hours when a worker came out to ask me if I had a problem with my bike. I didn’t but she was willing to help me out even thought they were already closed for a bit. In fact she even tired to help a couple walking by with a flat tire on a stroller.
I also visited this place to help a friend buy a bike and to have my own bike repaired and I have nothing but praise for their friendliness and service.

I love MOX Multisport. I’m a beginner triathlete & cyclist. A lot of cycle/​athletics shop staffs are snobby, but not these guys.
They were very friendly, helpful, and patient with all my simplistic questions. They even let me into the repair area in the back to teach me how to change my tires.
Selection is extensive: wetsuits, parts, apparel, accessories, cycles (including my favorite cycle manufacturer: Felt, a lot of other shops don’t carry Felt).
MOX has definitely earned my loyalty.

I have been to many bike shops in the city until I found Mox. – now I don’t go anywhere else.
They are super nice and will do what it takes to make the customer happy. They also know their shiz but aren’t snotty about it. They will patiently answer all of your questions and help you make the right decision for you (in other words, they aren’t pushy).
So stop wasting your time with other shops with condescending jerks and ride over to Mox. You will be a happier person for it.

So I brought in the most janky bike in the world for them to fix. It had been abandoned in my stairwell for three years.
They went above and beyond for me, sourcing old parts online and shipping them in at no additional cost.
The whole staff is cool and friendly. They rock.

So I had my bike stolen… and I decided when I bought my bike to be stupid and not keep track of my serial number and other important info… well MOX really came to the rescue!
I gave them a ring after I found out my bike was stolen, and they said to come by with your receipt and they would be able to track down my serial number for me. When you buy a bike from them they enter the serial into the system and track it, and actually it is printed on your receipt usually too. For some reason mine was not when I bought it so they had to pull it up again and print the info off for me… now thats all on my police report… fingers crossed!
The staff there has been nice both times I went in (purchasing the bike and getting the serial)… I already knew exactly what I wanted so I cant comment much on sales/​recommendations type of things… but they really do seem to know their stuff.
