I’ve been in my current studio apartment for close to two years now and after looking high and low finally found the perfect(round) kitchen table and chairs at Model Furniture Company. The funny thing is, I would’ve never have known about this place if I wasn’t walking down the street one day coming from Sears, because it doesn’t really stand out. No glaring lights or oversized sign. The store is non-descript. It’s very plain. Even when you’re inside it doesn’t look like much, it’s big and kind of empty, except for the tables near the front, which is where I saw mine. In all honesty, I didn’t expect to find a quality piece of furniture at a place like this! Now to the specifics, the table is made out of birch, has fold down leafs with easy to pull-out wooden bars on the underside, and this is the best part, it doesn’t wobble because of the adjustable height rollers on the base of the legs. Nothing rolls off the table! In addition, the price($ 249) included two chairs with(2) balance bars, that not only adds to the esthetic, but to the stability of the legs. The only thing I added were a couple of cushions because of all of the hours I spend sitting on it. This can also double as a work desk, where it can comfortably fit a tablet or a laptop. Finally, delivery is free if you live in the neighborhood. And Ken, will do everything in his power to get it to you ASAP. I got mine in a few days. I really enjoyed my experience here, especially the customer service Ken provided. FYI, I went here 3 times before I bought it!

This is your standard furniture store that sells a wide variety of furniture from catalogs. I was impressed with their willingness to ensure that the finishes of the pieces I wanted matched and they allowed me to mix and match pieces. My problem came with delivery. When I ordered they said it should take 5 or 6 days. It took 11 days. Not only that, but I had to call to find out when it would be delivered and what time it would be delievered.
