History

Established in 2013.

Midwest Digital Media was founded by Juan Montelongo as the result of a 14-​year career as a Professional Filmmaker & Videography. With 2 award winning films «The Triangle of Death» & «The Line of Departure» as well as a new feature-​length film touring the film festivals «Searching for Eddie Running Wolf.» MDM has also created a large volume of corporate, online and direct marketing sales videos in various locations across the country and across different distribution channels from web to Digital Cinema Projection.

Business Owner

I was born & raised in Chicago, IL I graduated in 2006 from Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Film/​Video. I worked on over 300 film sets as a production assistant, grip, gaffer, director of photography, director and eventually producer. With credits to include «Grace is Gone» 35 mm Feature length film, TouchVision TV startup multi-​platform news network, «The Triangle of Death» Award-​winning Feature length documentary «The Line of Departure» Award-​winning short documentary and «Searching for Eddie Running Wolf» feature length Documentary I have experienced equal success in the professional videography arena working with Blink of an Eye Productions for 10+ years as well as Chicago Videography for 5+ years.
