Michael is the best massage therapist! He makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in the door. He really listen to you when you tell him your issues. I am a cancer survivor my shoulder was so tense with the stress that I had to go through. I have been going for a few years now and he has helped me so much. You leave out a whole new person. Try him out you will not be disappointed.

I’ve seen Michael a few times now and he is great! I’m a bit of a «massage junkie» and he is now the first person I call. He is very conveniently located, easy to book with, and has been very effective in relieving chronic tightness in my traps and neck. As a bonus, he is a super nice guy!

I’ve been going to Mike for a number of years now and appreciate that he has his own place west of downtown. I’ve been to my fair share of massage therapists over the years and think Mike is the best out there. He pays attention to where you’re having pain and takes the time to work out the tension and knots. Mike can do everything from deep-​tissue to relaxing/​therapeutic massages. Most importantly, he takes the time to get to know you and you can chat as little or as much as you want. In fact, he makes me so comfortable that I often fall asleep during the session. With Mike, you get a high quality massage at a very reasonable price.

I get really awful tight shoulders and low back muscles from my job, so I knew it was time to book a massage. A friend who’s been a regular of Mike’s recommended I check him out, and since his office is not too far from me, I decided to book an appointment.
The online scheduling is awesome, and allows you to browse open times that match up with your schedule. Mike’s office is very conveniently located and easy to find right on Chicago Avenue. I had a morning appointment, and found lots of side street parking which was nice. When I showed up about 12 minutes before my appointment, he greeted me at the front door of the building he’s in, and walked me back to the treatment room. I loved that this isn’t a frou-​frou spa, but rather more of a health clinic-​type setting.
The massage room had very relaxing music playing, the ambience was fantastic, and I loved the fact that it was QUIET. So many other places have noise and people and loud general noise going on all the time, it often makes it impossible to relax.
Mike did an awesome job of listening to what I requested, and got to work very diligently on the muscle groups that he could tell needed lots of work. He is a very mellow, friendly, and professional therapist that made me feel comfortable the whole time. If you’re looking for some great bodywork without drama, go here.
