Metra Union Pacific North Line – Rogers Park Station

Since I travel around so much using mass transit/​public transportation,
and, Lord knows I have written reviews of all these bus terminals,
train stations, I felt it was my duty as a bus and train riding fool to put
this Metra Station on the map.
I like this Metra Station because I come here to catch my train to Ravinia,
and usually up by the tracks there are lots of middle aged concert groupies
like myself all saddled up with their blankets, coolers, chairs, yadda yadda.
Well, I was pretty surprised last night because yes, there were a bunch of
groupies like myself on the platform but there were also some teenagers
smoking funny cigarettes in plain view and they were blowing that stuff in
my direction.
That stuff was wafting through the air, and I caught a whiff. Hey just 1 whiff
cause I don’t do drugs…
So, all in all this is a popular station, located on Ravenswood near Clark
and Lunt and it takes lots of people to Ravinia to see great concerts like
the one I saw last night. Heart Rocks now and forever.:)
However, I did get kind of freaked out about the rodent I saw crawling
inside the garbage can in front of this station.
Oh, well, can’t have everything…
