Soon to be moving to the area and thought I’d check it out. Pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and great food. Not the best tacos I’ve ever had, but it’s a good authentic Mexican restaurant!

First time here. I live in the area and am constantly heartbroken at the lack of options for quality Mexican food. While they’re not the absolute best tacos, they do fill my (constant) need for tacos. Good food, friendly staff, and the restaurant is quiet and comfy. I’d come back again.

Stopped in last night with my boyfriend to grab something quick to eat — we were hungry and we were in the area. We passed by this place so many times and never walked in, and I’m so glad we finally did. The tacos were amazing! I had the ribeye steak and ground beef tacos and he had the steak ones. Genuine Mexican tacos, incomparable to Taco Bell or any of that other crap that tries to pass as Mexican food. The place is very clean and inviting and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Just walking in you can smell the amazing cooking and you automatically know that you will be able to get something delicious to eat in here. I will most definitely be back and will recommend to anyone I know! Thumbs up!

The food is good. Torta de milanesa, tacos de al pastor and tacos de tripas are all on point. The main reason I like this place is because the first time I stopped by, it was on a random night, 10 min before they closed. I wasn’t even going to go in once I saw they were nearing their closing time, but the guy waved me in. I appreciated the gesture and asked him what he had readily available, since it was so close to closing time and I didn’t want him making any last minute stuff just for me. He said not to worry, to order whatever I wanted off the menu, he’ll make it right away. That alone has made me a return customer. Most places either turn you away at that point, make you feel uncomfortable for walking in so late or tell you they only have certain items available. The fact that the food is very decent will also make me go back of course, but the customer service definitely won me over.

When this place opened up it was actually pretty good. Went back yesterday and it was absolutely horrible. The waitress did not greet us, she just came to the table a minute after we sat down and asked if we were ready to order. We hadn’t even taken off our jackets, so no we were not ready! She seemed annoyed and walked off, she did not come back for another 15 min!!! We finally ordered, but the food was pretty mediocre. She did not come back to check on us until after we were all done. She was more interested in watching the novela on the tv. The food is not good enough for us to come back and deal with the rude service.

I was visiting a friend around the area and decided on grabbing dinner and asked if she knows of a good Mexican place. She brought me here and I am glad she did! I had my standard order which is chicken nachos, which were great! i wasnt able to finish it bec there was a lot. The girl on the register was really friendly and was very accomodating. She made sure we got everything, even to the last condiment.
Loved this place! Thanks for the great food and service, guys!

When we first got there it was inviting it was our first time there so it took awhile to figure out what we want (menu is in both English and Spanish servers also speak English) the waitress would just hover over us even though we asked for a minute making it a bit awkward.
The reason for the high rating is because it serves delicious food. Also has good portions. Caution there are no refills unless its water. Its one of the few authentic Mexican restaurants in the area.

Very good neighborhood Mexican food place — clean, quiet family atmosphere, casual & comfy. Staff is friendly, makes you feel at home without being intrusive and everything we have had here has been well-​prepared & delicious.
I especially like that their food is prepared with a lighter touch than some other neighborhood Taquerias, lots of crisp fresh veggies, not dripping with grease, and not covered with 3 inches of cheese and sour cream.
Sauces are all fresh and homemade, guacamole is yummy and prepared to order. Favorites are their steak tacos, the veggie Tostadas and the Chile Rellenos tacos.
We do take out as well as dine in — and have never had a bad meal, a neighborhood gem.

This place blows away the other Mexican Food Resturants in the area — Tacos are large and the taste is awesome — You can have a taco with anything you want on it only extra is avacado which is every where — Cooks and Waitresses are awesome Buritto is also large and great the Carne Asada is exceptional and really everything I have ordered here is great and the portions are great and the cost is very low.

This place started out decent but quickly declined. The prices are way too high for the quality of food… the steak tacos are very fatty. Everything is extra: cheese, avocado, etc. The one waitress is semi rude. I won’t eat here again.

been here at lease 20 times over the last year it became the place to get lunch after school with a couple of friends, Its cheap normally we spent around 5 – 7 dollars each, Rima is out of her/​his mind, the service is ok, they are always very friendly, and the food is good for a local taqueria.

This place is a dump it gives Mexican food a bad name. My friend said she had never tried worse food in her life. The rice, beans, orchata, and tacos absolutely sucked. The orange rice was hard and stale difficult to chew and finish. I cook better Mexican food than these people. The staff was rude. I will never come back here. No wonder it was empty when I was inside. I wonder why the person below gave them 5 stars.

It’s good, it’s close to my house and it’s not expensive. The people are really nice, the place is really clean and the amount of steak they put on their tacos gives me tears of joy. Topolobampo it’s not. But it definitely satisfies the need for the all aforementioned things.
