I had a TERRIBLE experience here. I was getting a bikini laser hair removal, and asked for anything that would show while I was wearing underwear to be lasered off. On my left side, Valerie went in really far in the center, and now I have a big section of my pubic hair that doesn’t have any hair, and patchiness on the rest of the left side. It looks really bad, you guys. I had been confused while she was doing the lasering why she was doing it like that, and when my hair started growing back in, my suspicions were confirmed. I asked her if she had thought I’d asked for a landing strip or something, and she said no, she was doing a bikini and that she hadn’t gone far in. Flat out denial! There was no supervising doctor there or anything. I wish I had never gone!

I wouldn’t trust my face to anyone but Valerie, she is the BEST technician I have been to in a long time and believe me, I have tried numerous in the city. She always has recommendations of services that will improve my skin in addition to topical applications I can use at home. I highly recommend Valerie at Med Salon Spa and while your waiting for your treatment, its great you can order a drink at Polish & Pours bar, an added bonus!

Valerie is a fantastic technician. The only downside is that since she’s the only person there (aside from the Polish and Pour folks), sometimes you have to wait 10 – 15 minutes past when the appointment time is. But, she’s very flexible, very professional and the laser hair removal she did has zapped most of my hair. Not all, because for time constraints I had to do the laser treatments faster than she recommended, but it’s a huge improvement. Great service, highly recommended.
