I been going here for years now and I attend their customer appreciation day every year. Salesman are very helpful and the salesmen know what they are talking about.

I needed a new car battery, air filter and wipers, I’m so glad I called this store. Greg took great care when assisting me with purchase options and installation. Great customer service. Will go back whenever I need auto parts or accessories. Thanks you Greg!

We looked everywhere for a 12 mm Allen wrench (seriously I called 20+ places) and when we came to maverick auto parts they didn’t have the wrench but the nicest associate Jose grinded a different wrench down to get the size we needed.
Overall great customer service and they were easy on the eyes too!

Cheaper and more personal attention than many auto parts store, especially compare to Auto Zone across the street.
The car technicians are very experienced and offer good advice. Good choice of employees in terms of bilingualism. They offer Spanish and Polish speakers to help.
The only con of the business is the small parking space for 6 cars.
Overall it is highly recommended.

I’ll bestow a fair-​to-​middlin’ rating on Maverick, their place is an experience at least.
Maverick Auto Parts up until around a ½ doz. yrs back was Forest City Auto. The exact same store, I maintain. So you could say they’ve been around quite a long time total. Both named generations use a customer purchase punch card system whereby you’ll get $ 5 off when the card is fully punched, and that’s not to be sneezed at. However when they changed names they refused to honor your punch card under the previous Forest City name, resulting in lost accumulated credit for many. IIRC they acted like they’d never even heard of Forest City then. A subtle cheat.
But they have a large stock and prices that sometimes are the lowest. Consider this place a kind of automotive aftermarket part hell, their salesmen have 2 modes – pounce on you like the most predatory of meat-​eaters, or ignore like you weren’t there at all. Sound familiar? The way to deal with them are the 3 P’s: be Prepared, be Precise, and be Persistent in stating your requirements.
