I have not tried the spicy chips, but their regular tortilla chips are the best I’ve had next to those made fresh at local Mexican place. I love these chips!

We recently got a bag of Matilda’s «Spicy Hot» chips that had been distributed to one of our local grocery stores. Now, generally we like spicy hot things, ranging from merely spicy and tasty, all the way up to blazing hot. However, these chips… they were among the worst-​tasting chips I’ve ever tasted. The spice was simply paprika and red hot chili pepper. Prior to trying these, I had no particular idea what that would taste like, but now I know, it’s not particularly good. These chips might taste good with *something*, but I can’t imagine what.
The chips, plain, would probably have been fine, but then again, we have local companies that make them.
