I am a highly interactive therapist from a family-​owned practice that opened in 1988. I counsel individuals and couples of all ages from college students to seniors. My style is compassionate, practical and solution-​focused; my clients describe me as genuine and very easy to talk to. In a trusting, non-​judgmental and safe space, I allow clients to address areas of dissatisfaction as they feel ready. It takes great courage to seek help, especially during times of sadness, anxiety, or frustration, yet I believe that when people are ready and open to it, lasting change is possible.

Business Owner

Mark O’Brien received his training at Indiana University, one of the top counseling programs in the nation. He has been in the counseling field for almost a decade. Most recently, he expanded O’Brien Counseling & Consultation into downtown Chicago serving clients of all ages and backgrounds.
