Have ordered take out a bunch of times and food was delicious. So I was looking forward to eating there, but was sooo disappointed! The service was horrible. Very unprofessional. I don’t plan on returning.

Came in tonight. Ordered wings, had a few beers spent 71.08 including tip, waitress Cassie checked on the table 2 times, she mentioned how she doesn’t check ids, when I showed her mine .
I ordered a burger to go, plain. 15 mins later after I closed my bill at 10:32 I was brought a burger with ketchup mayonnaise and mustard. I sent it back — now it’s 11:03, I spoke with the manager Amy who was unapologetic, said I should’ve came to her before I paid, also had the server apologize and admit that she didn’t order the burger properly (how embarrassing) for the server to be in that position .
Anyways overpriced, Amy the bar manager didn’t care, I even said you know I’ve been in the neighborhood for a long time this why I hardly come in here, said she couldn’t do anything, really ?!

Can I please get some service here? Hours waiting for service! You have to chase them down to get a drink, or even the check. Food gave me a stomach ache, drink were ok.

I was a regular at this place long before they did their renovations and once my schedule allows it, I’ll likely be a regular here again. Nonetheless, I find time to stop in once or twice a month. In addition to the visual renovations, I LOVE the fact they have taken steps to make the troublemakers of society who used to infest this place at night feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I’m not sure how anyone could complain about their prices because they have some awesome daily specials every single day.
If I could recommend anything it would be for them to hire someone on to work on their marketing & advertising to get more people in the door. This place is WAY too nice now for the low attendance you see in there on some days. I mean, it’s great for those of us who go in during those times because we get faster service, but I’d like to see this place stick around for years to come instead of the rash of trashy dive bars that plague that general area.

I’ve been here a few times on a Friday and Saturday night. and let me tell you it’s very different from during the day. I went with my bf a few weeks ago and had great service I don’t remember her name but she had blonde hair. We ordered wings, pizza, hamburgers, fries, beers. Every thing was brought out hot, the order was correct and she made sure we had everything. She was nice and recommended a beer I would like. never before have I tried a rootbeer beer. It was interesting. At night it’s a different crowd though.

Horrible service, no buckets of beers, $ 5 domestics, $ 14 pitchers, only one pitcher per table, even if the table has 8 people sitting there, food is good but not worth visiting. They think they’re in downtown but they’re located in the hood, save your money and go down the street to Illinois bar and grill.

So they wouldn’t allow for us to get a bucket of beer, which would be fine since they say they want to limit the amount of alcohol being served per person. All about the safety laws until you see the the waitresses gustling beers and the other slamming vodka/​lemonades behind the bar. And even that would be just fine unless they don’t take order in a timely fashion and fail to check in frequently which is exactly what was happening. It a ridiculous policy they have and clearly they don’t have their priorities straight! The management needs to be put in their place. Send Bar Rescue into this place!

Fuck this place. My girlfriend and her co workers got jumped right outside by a bunch of gang bangers. They were all wearing their uniform and these pieces of shit still went ahead and take advantage because it was 6 people agains 10. Like wat the fucking fuck? Kids these days smh. This bar needs to take more responsibility when it comes down to their facility because this happened right in their parking lot and the security guards said they didn’t get paid enough to break up the fight and one got sent to the hospital and my girlfriend and her other female coworker got jumped by 5 females nothing but fuckig garbage ass gangbangers! Fuck this place!!!

Great place to catch a game, they have huge TV’s everywhere and they have daily special so make sure to check that out! I looooveeee their margaritas!

It was sunday afternoon and me and the bf were looking for a burger and beer. It was our mistake, to go in on a Bears game night. Equipped with groupon we were ready to drink it up and munch out. Unfortunately, do to lack of service we settled for 1 beer (after our waitress forgot our pitcher, and brought us 2 glasses instead). Once our food was brought in by a «new waitress» we were asked if we wanted another beer, to put up with the ridiculously loud tvs (for the less then 50ppl there) we said yes. No beer was brought. And no one ever returned to our table. This is surprising since for such a large bar it was practically empty, with sections looking like ghost towns. What is disappointing is that this place has the potential to be a great place for people on this side of the city. Sadly with all its negatives, we’d rather shell out for gas and parking on the North Side than get bad service and really mediocre food close by.

I went here with some friends to watch the Chicago Blackhawks game. We did not like how they played loud music and you could not hear the game at all and it is a sports bar. The food and drinks were good. They had good specials. I think we may give this sports bar another try.

This place is cool as hell. Lots of tvs everywhere playing loud music and sports games. Almost a club like atmosphere at night on a Friday. Food is good

I just wanted to go somewhere for a late night snack. Little did i know this place turns into a terrible club with an awful DJ with a $ 5 cover charge. They were the only thing open so it had to do. My guy friend got patted down YIKES! What kind of place is this, we just wanted a pizza! Maybe this place is better when it is earlier in the day. I will not be back!

I used to frequent this establishment back when it was LaCocos and it definitely has changed for the better, much to the adjustment of the times. I love coming here for many reasons. The service is amazing, the food is definite comfort food, and the drink specials are top notch.
The times that I have been here the service has been amazing. Speaking as a server, it’s very hard to find great service anywhere. These ladies really have got it.
The food is definitely generously portioned. The calzones are to die for, the chicken tenders are a great size for the 5 piece and the pizza is great as well. They have daily specials for food as well. Don’t miss that!
There are lots of drinks specials here. From daily to monthly. It’s the best spot to hang out or go with family.
People don’t skip out on this place. I can not review on the night aspect of it being that I always come during lunch so that is the only reason I will give it a 4 star review. But I have seen from friends posting on their fb of constant meetups here.

This place is terrible! Been there once and never came back. The food sucked the service was even worse. The waitresses untrained and don’t the difference between their elbow and their asshole. They got us a drink or food and they never came back to check on us worst service ever. I’ve been a lot of bars but never one this bad I was surprised that this place is not out of business yet terrible service, food and customer service. We didn’t leave a tip and I’m never going back.

I really like the pizza! Why? Because they make the pizza any way you want it & it’s not greasy!!! It’s a great bargin 9.99 $ for an extra large. Instead of little Caesars I would buy this pizza instead. Freshly made with veggies or meat whatever you prefer. I will go back. Try it once I know you will return.

This place sucks. If I could give it zero stars I would. I got something in the mail that they had a free pizza buffet weekdays from 5 til 7. I got there at 6 on a Thursday and they said they didn’t have the special. We showed our waitress the special that was on the card we received through the mail and asked her why it said that than and it was false advertisement and her response was «that’s just what it says». She was so rude about it and we just left. Management sucks here, false advertisement, rude service. Go down the street to pizza castle, much better service, pizza is delicious, and you’d be supporting a family owned business that has been in the community for years.

Went with a Groupon (20 for 40) with the wife and my son, we went during lunch time. They are super cheap, for the Groupon we got; a burger, basket of fries, ½ pound fried mushrooms, 6 jalapeño poppers, 3 non-​alcoholic drinks, 1 alcoholic drink, 12 chicken wings and a slice of pizza. Of course, we took some home but wow we were stuffed there and once we got home and ate the rest a few hours later we got stuffed again. This place may not be the best bar and grill but it is most definitely not the worst. They rank pretty high on my list and their slushy alcoholic thing taste delicious, it is a must. It’s huge as well so I might go there for a night out because it looks like a chill spot and the bartender is very nice.

Madd Anthony is a «special» place. Its a sports bar that is extremely local to the South Side. It has a rough feel if you walk in, but a good time can be had especially on Karaōke Nite. Think of Cheers, in a the hood. They take their darts serious in these parts. Free popcorn and cheep drinks, its not the best place but its not the worst. Real Hawks and Bears fan be here arrrr. my biggest pet peeve with «Madds» is when they have $ 1 domestic beers, because in the South Side domestic means Bud, Bud Lite, MGD and Miller Lite, and YOU are the moron if you think Sam Adams or Leinenkugel are domestic.
The food is typical bar food, best to go with something fried.

This place stinks. It used to be much better when it was just La coco’s. The food has generally gone downhill, the chili is now horrendous, and their menu offerings are subpar. Booooooo!
