Lofty Weddings

In June 2013, Lofty Weddings provided photography services for our wedding, which was held at Loft on Lake in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. After a different photographer bailed on our contract less than 48 hours before our wedding, Stephen and Lofty Weddings swept in to save the day! Miraculously, they were available to do all our wedding photography, and moved quickly to fill in for the other company who let us down. They were extremely considerate, flexible, professional and focused on making us happy. In the end, we came away with some beautiful photographs that capture how happy this day was for us and our families, and we are exceedingly grateful to Stephan and his team for everything they did for us!

We contracted with Steve to shoot our wedding in May 2013. We researched many photographers around the Chicago area, some more expensive and some less but, we felt Steve and Lofty really hit right where we we’re comfortable. We felt that he had top notch gear and a good eye, and it showed through his photos. You can see the results on his websites’ gallery under Michelle and Johnny’s wedding. He did a great job of taking advantage of the urban setting around Loft on the Lake and we felt like we had some unique photos of our day. You always worry about those money shot… the kiss, the dance, etc. And we had plenty of those. He had an assistant at all times, so in many situtations we had multiple shots of any given photo. He also has a website for galleries and printing photos which came in handy for getting pictures to relatives out of our area. We would definitely recommend Lofty regardless of location. We had a great experience with them.
