Everybody that he took money from we should all get together and sue him because the law suit has to be a certain amount. Ever since the owner died this place has went down. they don’t answer the phone they don’t answer their emails and then when you change your mind after not hearing from them they wanna keep your money. Well there is a law that they have to respond to you within 72 hours if they do not respond to you within 72 hours via email or phone they cannot hold your money. Juan is very disrespectful to women. I guess you have to look a certain way or present yourself a certain way to say that you have money and then he’ll deal with you I guess you have to look a certain way or present yourself a certain way to say that you have money and then he’ll deal with you. I’m A believer in karma what goes around comes around but I wish his business well.

At one point I gave this place 4-​stars because I liked that I was able to get affordable business cards printed really fast (1000 in 2 days) but I retract that. The cards I had made were all black, and over a very small period of time the black ink came off the cards, and they just looked cheap and I threw them in the trash. I guess you get what you pay for, they are CHEAP.
I’ve never ordered anything else from them. Perhaps all white cards are fine and other types of printing is good. I wouldn’t know though.

Really fed up with Juan and whatever clowns work there. Prices are decent, but EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I have to put an order in, it’s nothing but hassle.
First of all, you have to come in and pre-​pay. Even if you’re re-​ordering, meaning you’re not some random off the street, you’re someone they already know, too bad — pre-​pay. So you have to go in twice, first to pay, then to pick up.
Second, they’re slow. Very slow.
Third, like everyone already said, their communication completely sucks. If you call, don’t expect anyone helpful to answer. Don’t expect a call back. Don’t expect anyone to follow up with your order status or let you know it’s done.
In other words, if you need something done quickly, or even average time, or even slow, but not ridiculously, beyond reason dog slow, then go somewhere else.
I found a shop on Western, just 10 blocks west down the street of these guys, better prices, take payment online and turned my order around in 2 days instead of 2 weeks plus the obligatory 5 days of phone tag. After that, I was like. why in the world did I put up with this nonsense for so long?
Seriously, just forget these guys. Actually, I’m pretty sure it’s not even ‘guys’. It’s just Juan, and then his homeboys loitering around and answering the phone. Forget it.

These guys have constantly beaten prices from online print services and done so with a quick turnaround and friendly service. The products are top-​notch, and you get to see it all in person, you can’t do that with an online print service.
They know their stuff too, if you have any questions or need help deciding what to get done, give them a call or stop in! Need something printed quickly? They do that with the rush services they have available too.
Not that a print shop is something you’d wander into just on a whim, but they are in a great stretch of Western Ave that spans from the 606 up to Fullerton with tons of retail stores, tattoo parlors, restaurants and bars. I’ve been calling it ‘Walk Western”, and I think you probably should too. (I mean call it that AND actually walk that stretch.)

I found Juan with Liquid Gold Design via Unilocal and overlooked negative reviews. I was impressed with him and he showed me great design work he did. He does business cards, signs, T-​shirts, Logos and really has great past work. I left his business June 30^th 2015 excited to do business with him and looking forward to seeing business card proofs. He charged full amount upfront for two proofs + printing for companies and promised proofs within 7 – 14 days.
Well, the proofs never arrived! I called and emailed and finally reached him 20 days later. He apologized and asked i send him an email. 1 week later still no proofs and no contact.
I wrote him a letter asking for a refund and still no contact.
They charged me $ 423.13 and never did a thing and instead of refusing to refund they ignore me.
To Juan w/​Liquid Gold Design: Tomorrow is your last day to refund my card before i take action.

I been doing business with Juan for long time. This is my favorite place to get my designs printed at. Price is unbeatable and quality products.

This place was great! They printed my Capstone project within 24 hrs, boarded it, and bagged it. Their recommendation for using mat paper for my presentation was spot on as well! I’ll be going back here for any future large format printing!

Buyer BEWARE! If you are accustomed to doing business in a fair and civil manner, this is NOT the place for you! If you want to have your money basically stolen, then by all means, you have found the right place. Horrible work, completely unethical.

Juan took my money and stopped returning any of my calls. I needed a car wrap design and business cards design and print. His policy is that you have to pay 50% upfront. Instead he charged my the whole amount without confirming with me. I was promised to have my order done in 3 – 5 days. A month later nothing was ready. I tried to call-​he was too busy to talk and always promised to call me back. Calls weren’t even returned. Last time I called I was really mad and told him that I wanted the money back. He said that there is no refund no matter what. So, I called my bank and they got my money back. I got lucky there. But be careful!
If you look at the reviews that have been removed and are in the not recommended list, you will see that people had the same problem with Juan.
