Light Bay Photography Studio

I hired Light Bay studios to take pictures of my my 2 dogs. We went to the studio on Belmont in Lakeview and had a lovely time. After we left that day, we have been unable to contact them. No pictures… no call backs… nothing! I called, emailed, begged them to contact me. One of our dogs was a puppy at the time and I would love to have those pictures. Does anyone know what happened to them? Out of business? Moved? Any information will help! Thank you in advance!

My family and I had received a gift certificate to Light Bay for a family portrait session. I was sooo excited since it was our very first time being photographed as a family! We recently had a baby, so I was kind of nervous on how that’d go. Well, our experience was wonderful! They were very flexible and wanted to accommodate us in any way they can. They knew we had a newborn, so I’m sure that was why. Our actual session was great! The photographer was extremely patient, She captured many images that she said would be edited and given to us on a CD. Our session didn’t last the full hour, but I was ok with that since the baby was getting tired and hungry.
We received the CD via mail, which I was happy about because I was originally told I would have to pick them up. My husband and I loved the photos! We sent them out to the rest of my family asap! It was really nice that Light Bay provided a release form just in case anyone gave me issues about printing the images.
I recommend this place! :)

We hired Lightbay to work with my sister and our little cousins. They were WONDERFUL with little children, incredibly patient and took great shots. The photos werre great quality and reasonably priced!

We hired LightBay Studio’s Wedding Photographers to shoot our engagement photos and wedding in Chicago last year and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. We got a lot of quotes beforehand and to be frank, I was a little nervous and surprised to see how affordable their wedding packages were in comparison to other photographers we’d been recommended.
A good amount of their competitors had very similar packages priced much higher but the quality of the engagement photos they shot for our «save the dates» were so great that we knew we were dealing with some very talented & fun people who were going to give us what we wanted and more.
On the day of the wedding the photographer did a great job of making my wife and I relaxed and focused on what really mattered, each other. (Which is way more then I can say for our ridiculously overpriced and over-​publicized florist from hell, but that’s a whole other Unilocal.)
I highly recommend letting these guys do their thing. They caught a ton of fantastic shots of me and my wife when we thought no one was looking, and to be honest those were the moments I’m glad to have photographed forever. Not to mention a lot of the wedding party shots were hilarious and fun to have. Anyway, the point is our photographer was really imaginative and attentive, and we couldn’t be anymore satisfied. My wife and I would love to give these guys SIX out of FIVE stars for a job well done!
