Best vitamin/​health store in Chicago! I used to work down the street from here and now go out of my way to visit for all my vitamin and health needs. Very competitive prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plus Lupe makes the best green juice! Make sure to stop in the back and grab a smoothie or fresh juice to go! :-) Miss being able to do that daily!

I presume the owner or manager was the one helping me. He was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions no matter how random. I will definitely be back here.

This is one of my favorite stores in Chicago. I like to go in there and walk around and waste 10 – 15 minutes just checking out all their different products. The prices are actually really competitive too. A few of the employees will actually remember me and they even know what some of my favorite products are. They tell me when they are coming in. Unfortunately, I moved a few blocks south so I don’t go there as much now. I went there again recently and it was nice to see some familiar faces there, the products I liked were still there. I should come more often, such a nice store!

These guys are awesome. Thanks to my buddy (Salih) at work this is my goto place for my pre and post workout needs. You can’t beat their prices, all the products you need as they will get it or order it for you if they don’t carry it, the samples they give you are an added bonus, AND their customer service, especially, is top-​notch. I’ve only been here what, five or six times (once at the Webster location). One of the guys (I hate this; I’m terrible with names — sorry) suggested or offered to drive me to the theater location but I said I would walk as it was nice out. Although, cool of him — talk about above and beyond. Another one called THAT location to hold the brand I needed — very helpful as well. Not only that, he USED his OWN cellphone in doing so. Most people or places would wait and walk up to the desk or counter and use their business line. He didn’t hesitate — no one did. These guys and this or THEIR business know what they’re doing. A+

This has been my «go to» for maca, vitamins, and soap for over 5 years. Excellent, quality products, very competitive pricing, and knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Happy to have such a great health food store in my ‘hood. i buy a lot of supplements (mostly in the mail). I’ve sought out the best out there because low-​end supplements are typically not any good. Mr. Kim carries all the top brands, competitively priced and everyone there is so happy to help and are super knowledgeable. I’m going to stop buying online and support this local business. The juices are great and healthy as well!

I get my Wheatgrass shot there along with other vitamins & health related items, everyone’s sooooooooooo super nice & super helpful. well they are Koreans … we Koreans are the BEST!!! LIVE HEALTHY!!!

I have been coming to this health food store for 5 years now, and I have always left feeling better than when I walked in. They staff and owner (Mr. Kim) are wonderful, kind and positive people. As a regular, they have gotten to know my shopping habits and have always ensured that my items are always stocked. They also frequently ask me if they can order anything that I might not see in the store.
The staff works as a team when it comes to questions. They all seem to have a niche in the store and they all provide honest opinions on products. If you’re not sure what product is best, they make great recommendations from their personal experiences and those of their clients. If they don’t know, they will say they don’t know.
This isn’t a business that will say anything to just to sell you a product. This is an honest and proud health food store that strives to provide excellent and genuine customer service to everyone that walks in.
They have an impressive selection of organic essential oils, a huge tea selection, every supplement you can imagine and a great simple juice bar. Also, the prices are perfect!
One personal story that I would like to share about the owner and staff of this establishment: I had the flu a few months ago. I don’t have family in the city, and all of my friends were out of town. It was terrible and I could barely move from the pain. I called Life Springs Health Foods and explained that I needed help. They put together my huge phone order of liquids, supplements, and snacks. They then patiently took the time to inquire about my symptoms, and recommended a product to help with my immune system that was just a few dollars. They then delivered everything it to me in 10 minutes.
Delivery is not a service that they provide. This is just one of many examples of how Life Spring employees always go above and beyond for their customers.

CHEAPEST place in Chicago for workout supplements. They carry almost all the top brands, I was a little disappointed they didn’t carry the delicious trutein protein powder or the jym line but their prices are out of this world.

Great store and extremely friendly customer service. Was definitely worth the 6 mile bike ride :) The store has everything (and I only checked out the vitamin side) I will definitely return and recommend to others!

I always walk by this place and never walked in. I’m sure glad I did because this place carries almost every workout supplement I can think of and they have a sale right now for dirt cheap. It’s even cheaper than online prices, Amazon, Costco &
. I was just browsing for a good 30 minutes because next time I need supplements, it will be here. They also have a juice bar in the back which is cool. They have a lot of organic vitamins etc. This store has probably more supplements in stock than GNC or Vitamin Shoppe and cheaper!

I don’t even live in this neighborhood but I go out of my way to come here! They have everything I need and am looking for in one stop: health food, snack for lunch, vitamins and suppliments, health and wellness remidies, organic and natural toiletries, personal care, and beauty products. They carry many products and brands of everything, at competitively lower prices, and are always incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Huge selection of supplements, herbs, drinks, beauty products, and healthy snacks. A lot of the products are sold at or below the recommended retail price.
The store is spotless and the turnaround of products seem great i.e. the inventory doesn’t seem to have been sitting and collecting dust.
The staff and owner are so nice and welcoming, too. I’m glad to have found my new go-​to health store in Chicago that beats online shopping.

This shop is the only place in the city i can find, with consistency, the vegan protein supplement I want.
The guys there are friendly and helpful.
In fact, today when I went in and they were out of the ounces I wanted, the owner let me buy two of the smaller ones (equivalent in ounces together as the large one) for a few bucks cheaper than the larger one would have been.
Incredible service, incredible products, I give them MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

The owner of this place is the best! I stumbled in here before going to a nail appointment next door. The owner is friendly and helpful and has all the best of a nature food supermarket.
This place has the same things as WholeFoods but cheaper. I’m a repeat customer and love it here!

What can I say, I LOVE this place! They usually have a few staff on hand, all of who are very helpful and knowledgeable about product. There’s a little bit of everything in this store, from vitamins and supplements, teas, juice bar, kombucha, skin products, things for vegans, things for raw vegans, things for people looking to supplement their workout regimen, they have a LOT for what seems like a small store! Although there is a lot, they are very organized, but feel free to ask for help, the staff is all very knowledgeable.
You ask the staff about ailments and they can point you to a few few products that can help. I can buy my Vitamineral Green Powder on Amazon but I choose to support this business that has been around for 30 years. Sometimes they throw in samples, especially if you spend a decent amount and are nice.

Prices on many things are better than Amazon. Paid less for my favorite nutritional yeast and witch hazel here. Great selection, great prices, friendly service!

reiterating my 5 star review. The owner is a very nice Asian man. While I was buying some Quest bars, he threw in a new type of Cliff bar (for free!) saying it was a popular item. =) I will definitely be back!

I am ONLY rating this place for their juice bar.
First, only two actual juice menu items to choose from: 100% carrot or an all veggie mix. I chose the veggie and watched the man take his unwashed hands and grab handfuls of this and that to make the worst tasting veggie juice I have ever had. Anyone who makes their own juice knows that ginger root must be used sparingly and this juice was a good reminder of why. It was nearly all that I could taste. Sadly I won’t be returning for any juice.
I only gave it three stars because the rest of the store seemed great. They had a TON of great health and nutrition products and the other employees seemed very nice and helpful.
