Lasalle Limousine

This is a solid company. I used their shuttle bus for my wedding a few weeks back and they were on time, the driver was professional, their staff constantly reached out to ensure my driver was in the right place. The bus was pretty old and the air conditioner could have been stronger on that hot day, but the bus was clean and the shuttle bus pricing was the most competitive I’d come across. They got us where we needed to go and dropped us back without any problems and was big enough to carry the entire bridal party from point A to B and back. I would use their services in the future.

I use Lasalle about 2 times a month, sometimes more. Always on time or early. Safe, polite, friendly, professional drivers. This past Monday (after /​during snowstorm that dumped 18 — 20″ of snow to the area) my airline flight was surprisingly one of the few flights not cancelled out of O’Hare. The roads were really, really bad. Lasalle Limosine got me to O’Hare safe and on time. After some understandable problems caused by the weather Lasalle picked me up in a large, heavy SUV that could safely handle the conditions. I highly recommend Lasalle Limosine.

Had to wow my folks. just had 2 hours to plan and book a limo. Called multiple Limo services just to be told I need to give them at least 24 hours notice.
Dialed Lasalle Limo at 6:00 PM and Viola! I had a Limo pull up exactly at 8:00 PM as I was promised. The driver with long hair (forget his name now) was courteous and made us feel comfortable throughout the ride. Adjusted the air conditioning as couple of times on request. He even gladly offered to take our pictures at a particular stop. We changed our route a couple of times and he was friendly enough to accommodate all our requests.
The limo was clean, was stocked with water and beverages as we had requested. The ride was very smooth and my family thoroughly enjoyed their experience.
It was pretty impressive overall. I will definitely call them the next time I am in need of a Limo service.

LaSalle Limo is clean, comfortable, safe and reliable. I am usually exhausted when I arrive home after a work trip and I find their drivers to be the best.
They always help me with my bags, keep the temperature moderated to ensure my comfort, and the best part is that the cars don’t smell like those terrible air fresheners you find in cabs. I really love using their service and recommend them for business travelers across the city for their quality.

We have been longtime customers of LaSalle — but that ends here. We used LaSalle often, knew the driver (Milan) was a smoker and have asked before not to use him because of the smoke odor. This car had a heavy smoke order but he screamed that he no longer smokes and no way does the car smell. Well, it did. It was as if he was having a complete meltdown, yelling, rude and nasty, pulled over and refused to drive. We called LaSalle for another driver but Milan was told to take us to the airport — worse trip ever! We later called to speak to the manager but he never called us back. We referred many clients to LaSalle but that too won’t happen again. I would be afraid to have Milan drive anywhere and given the outburst he probably shouldn’t be in customer service anyway. We expected more from LaSalle and the courtesy of a return phone call from Michael. I guess when you spend money with them and refer clients that’s ok, but when you have a valid complaint they ignore you. I really thought they were more professional but the outrageous and scary behavior of the driver coupled by lack of response from the manager confirms they really don’t care.

I booked them for a ride to O’hare and home from a return flight. If I was rating them based on the ride TO the airport I’d give them 5 stars as the driver was not only prompt, but 10 minutes early for a 5am pick up. He was personable, a good driver and got us there promptly. The return ride was another story. It was difficult to coordinate the pick up. When the driver finally came, he was not very friendly. He took a wrong turn (they don’t appear to use GPS). When we got to our place the driver expected to be paid in cash, even though I used
a credit card on the first trip and was assured by the person who booked the trip that I could use a credit card. Not having $ 60.00 cash the driver scrambled for a credit card slip for about 10 minutes while I stood outside in the freezing cold. He couldn’t find one and so scribbled my cc # on a piece of scratch paper and had me sign that. It’s been a week and the charge hasn’t shown up on my statement. So while I may have gotten a free ride, it wasn’t worth it. It was «creepy». Would not use this company again. Next time, back to good old Chicago cabs.

I had to arrange a ride for me and my friend at the last moment, and I called a couple places and this turned out to be fabulous. I started by arranging my friend to be picked up at Skokie, pick me up in the city and be driven to the Hawks game. I talked to a really nice young lady named Monica to arrange all of this. It was a little difficult, because there were times involved and some last minute changes. I was somewhat frazzled, but Monica handled it professionally. I was worried that about everything working out and getting to the game on time. Well, I was so happy that everything ran smoothly that evening. My friend was picked up at the precise, predetermined time and so was I. All my worries were gone once we were being driven to the United Center. It was stressful and frustrating, but this company managed to make everything happen. They sure made my life easier that day. I think Monica was patient and kind, and it’s nice to talk with someone who wants to help you. I will definitely use this service again, because I know they’re reliable. Their rates were fare, which also made me go with them. First time using a car /​limo service and I think I totally lucked out. It could of turned out to be a really bad night, but thank God LaSalle Limo Service made it so much more comfortable. I recommend this place to everybody and have no problem using them again. Not to mention, the driver was also very nice and helpful. The whole experience turned out great and I am so happy they helped in making it so.

I needed a car service last minute from the city to pick up a colleague and go to client meetings and two airports. Phone reservations were responsive, covered everything and sent a confirmation email. Milan, our driver, was there on time, and a true pleasure and efficient throughout the entire experience. He found ways to use highways and side roads to minimize traffic impact that I never would have if I had rented a car instead. The $ 55/​hr plus tip was well worth it, especially as I was able to make an earlier flight because of Milan.

Never again will I use LaSalle Limo! Coming back from Utah with ski and snowboard bags, which I told them about when booking, the driver made us load them ourselves. He was no help at all! I’ll find a different service next time.

I’ve searched for a car service company to create a corporate account with for many month and have locked in on LaSalle.
They have the best rates I’ve found in the city and their service is top notch.
I always get fast responses via email or phone.
I’ve called them for airport pickups with a couple hours notice and have been able to fulfill the request.
Very satisfied with LaSalle.

I am checking out car services from downtown Chicago to O’Hare. Home James, Chase, Echo, and LaSalle have similar rates EXCEPT …
LaSalle charges an additional $ 4.00 airport tax for GOING TO O’HARE. I know for a fact that the tax is only for airport pickups and told the agent this several times, yet he kept insisting that the tax is charged both for coming from and going to the airport. My husband called over a week before I did, and was told the same thing after telling the agent that it is only a one way tax.
They have a $ 4.00 discount if you mention their Unilocal ad, but not everyone comes here first. I guess that discount would eliminate the wrongful $ 4.00 charge — but that doesn’t make up for them over-​changing to begin with.
This is a dishonest, cheap rip off and I am crossing them off of my list. $ 4.00 isn’t anything, but I hate being lied to and taken advantage of.

TERRIBLE. We booked a limo bus for our wedding to drive the entire wedding party downtown for pictures, and it NEVER SHOWED UP. Not only did they NOT show up, but they didn’t even call. We finally got a hold of someone at the company and OVER AN HOUR later, they sent us two small limos (totally NOT what we ordered, we did not want to split up the wedding party) and still expected us to pay full price for the limo bus we had originally booked. By the time they showed up, we only had an hour for pictures and thus only made it to one of the planned locations downtown for our wedding pictures.
Thanks to LaSalle Limousine, WE DID NOT GET THE WEDDING PICTURES WE WANTED AND WERE COMPLETELY STRESSED OUT ON OUR WEDDING DAY.

I booked Lasalle Limousine to take my bridesmaids and I to my wedding ceremony. The driver arrived on time and overall, had a friendly demeanor.
As we were getting in the limo, the driver told me that he did not know how to get to the church. This was very irritating to me, considering his profession. Why do limo companies ask for the start and end destination addresses if they don’t even bother looking up directions?
After about 15 seconds in the limo, we realized that the AC was broken. Our drive took about 50 minutes and it was about 94 degrees outside that day in August. Did I mention this was my wedding day?
Instead of kicking back in the limo drinking champagne, I was sweating like a pig with my eyes glued to the road to make sure we got the the ceremony.

There’s nothing really spectacular about them, but they definitely did the job! We’re going to use them again the next time we have an early flight (February). We thought for our honeymoon we might as well get a car to take us to the airport. I wasn’t about to take the Blue Line all the way from the S. Loop when our flight left at 8am. Since there was little traffic early, we got to Ohare in about 25 minutes for about the same price as a cab, except with a friendly driver who was on time and in a much nicer car!

Used them for a business trip. They were absolutely perfect. They:
— gave me clear guidance on how ot meet the driver (Suggested meeting at the Hilton to avoid confusion).
— Did a wonderfully efficent booking for the trip to and from Southeast Chicago (hell and gone)
— Emailed me confirmations including phone numbers.
— Were prompt, polite and on time.
All you’d want in a car service.

Sad that I’ve not reviewed these guys yet. My experience with LaSalle Limo service is limited to only the two following types of vehicles: Sedan and the shortest of the Limo’s. I’ve yet to had a negative experience with them:
Punctuality: 10 of out 5. They’ve never been late. Ever. Not when I was an undergrad at NU, not when I lived in Streeterville, not when I lived in Bridgeport, not when my parents needed them, and get this, not even when I lived as an «urban pioneer» on the west side. If anything, I’ve peeked out my window 10 minutes before ride time, and there they are waiting. At around 5 minutes before ride time, I’ll see the driver dial his cell phone and a few seconds later mine will ring.
Cleanliness of Cars: 4 out of 5. I’ve only had one instance where the little minibar area in one of the standard limos had like… saltine crumbs it in or something. All the other times the cars have been immaculate inside. The exteriors are always very clean too with one exception that I’m not docking points for. I had a flight in February out of O’Hare, and the car that pulled up was slightly dirty. But guess what? There was snow on the ground. And salt. He had probably just had the car washed the night before too. Poor guy. Oh, also — there is one older Lincoln Towncar that has purple tints on the windows. They look like the type you buy yourself and stick on. I’d consider upgrading those if I were the company/​driver.
Pricing: 5 out of 5.
For what it is (a limo service), the pricing is competitive with any other companies. Frequently you can find 5 dollar off coupons either on their website or in little magazines.
Friendliness of Drivers: 5 out of 5.
Can’t complain here. Always courteous, always try to make conversation with me and my traveling companions. A big plus at 5 in the morning.
Knowledge of Locations: 4 out of 5.
With relying on GPS comes a few downsides: in the instances where the waypoint on the GPS is slightly off, the driver may have to circle around if he isn’t familiar with the area. This happened only once, and that was when I was going to the Peggy N. Nature Museum for a formal event. I mean, getting to the airports isn’t really an issue because there’s only so many ways you can get to the terminals. And the number of ways is usually… one.
Overall: 5 out of 5.

I hired Lasalle Limousine to pick up a bachelor party (14 passengers) at the Chicago Yacht Club (Monroe location) and drive us up to Southport and Wrightwood.
When I called to get my first quote, the woman on the phone quoted me $ 245 plus 20% gratuity. I said I’d call back if we decided to go with Lasalle. I called back about an hour later, awarded Lasalle the business, and she jumped the price to $ 250 plus the 20%. I didn’t make a stink, because I figured what’s the big deal about $ 5 extra bucks? Also, any limo I’ve taken for these types of events has been happy to give us a little bonus time for some extra tip. I should’ve let the initial shadiness be my guide…
Come the day of the party, all 14 of us were waiting on the side of the road for the party bus to show up for 20 MINUTES. After the confirmation email said THEY WOULD CHARGE ME for wait time. WTF?! I understand that there’s traffic out there, but why wouldn’t you knock some money off the tab? It should be a two-​way street. (Pun mildly intended.)
Don’t get me wrong — the driver was friendly and the bus was very clean and nice.
When we got in, I asked him to take a slower, more indirect route to the next destination. I asked him to drive around a little bit so that the bachelor and his out of town guests could enjoy the Chicago views as the sun set over Lincoln Park. He said, «Sure, I’ll drive you around a little bit, but I have another job.» Then he proceeded to drive us straight up Lake Shore Drive, exit at Fullerton, right on Southport STRAIGHT to our destination. No extra drive around. No bonus time. No apology for making ME wait for 20 mintues.
The driver then had the gaul to ask what the problem was when I refused to add FURTHER gratuity to the bill (when he was already making $ 50 for under 20 minutes worth of work). $ 300 for a 15 minute bus ride to a bar? Forget it. I’m never using Lasalle Limo again.

I used to travel weekly for work– at least one trip. They were ALWAYS on time– even when I had 6 am flights out of Ohare. i could depend on them– even if I overslept. Pack the night before, they would call when they got to my house, wake me up, I would jump up, throw on clothes, brush my teeth grab my suitcase and run out the door. I had a favorite driver at this time… he would often arrive with coffee for me– GOD what a man!
Now that things have changed and I travel less (2 – 3 times per month) I still use them! I don’t think my driver is still here, but they are still on time, courteous, and the price is great!
I have to say– they do treat their customers well! I needed a car service for a trip across town-​and due to the date– it was gonna be really bad traffic. I called, they quoted me a great price for pick up and drop off, I can make my tests, not worry about random tourists walking where I cannot see them, and get where I need to go and back.
I have also used them to drive me to and from the milwaukee airport– great rates there too!
More than just airport service– I do recommend them!
I keep them on speed dial on my cell– they have been my go to company for 5 years. They are worth it!

I usually cab to the airport or take the el during high traffic times, but my fiancé and I decided we needed another plan when flying out on Thanksgiving morning. There’s nothing quite like stressing over finding a cab at 5 am on Thanksgiving morning– no thank you.
So our plan was LaSalle Limousine (thanks to Ang & Misse’s wonderful reviews). They usually charge $ 49 for a ride to o’hare, but due to the holiday it was $ 59. More expensive than a cab & much more expensive than the el… but worth it in my opinion.
Our very nice driver (I consider anyone to be very nice who works at 5 am on Thanksgiving Day) was waiting for us when my sleepy fiancé and I made our way downstairs. And we were at the airport within 20 minutes. Definitely something I’d look into again if I was worried about finding a cab.
