I don’t get these negative reviews, I’ve only had a fantastic experience. Quick, affordable, super knowledgeable and my go-​to place for all my auto needs. The owners are really great at answering all my MILLIONS of questions and I always feel really comfortable bringing my vehicle here.

I bought a Groupon for an oil change and inspection. I called and made an appointment but when I showed up for the appt no one was there or answering my calls. It was very unprofessional and as of now I have still not heard back from them. I understand things happen but if you’re not going to be open during your usual business hours you need to notify your clients and definitely don’t make them an appt. I would not recommend this place based solely on customer service, I have no idea if they actually do good automotive work. Thankfully Groupon was able to refund me my money.

I towed my Audi to John at LandSpeed Auto, after it shut off on me while driving. He diagnosed it and found out my ecu went out, ordered the parts, replaced, got my car within 2 days. On top of that he gave me free oil change. Since then, he became my preferred auto mechanic in the Lakeview area.

I needed a new battery and they got one in about $ 30 below cost from AutoZone and Pepboys. Called them in the morning and he got it there by that afternoon. Will be setting up an appointment to have them tint my windows soon as well.

I bought the Groupon today and John was able to get me in 3 hours later, for an oil change, tire rotation, and 50 point inspection. I told him prior to the inspection that I wanted everything to be in working order before the winter hits and that I’d replace whatever he said needed to be replaced. If you were to tell 95% of mechanics that, you’d probably have a $ 1000 bill. Mine was $ 34, because he is an honest guy, who wants referrals and repeat customers. I will come back here again, because I know that he is trustworthy… which matters, when it comes to getting your car serviced.

This place is the pits. I bought my car from these people and they told me the car was perfect. I thought that was a good idea because– if its coming from a mechanic, it should be good… NOT!
A week later the car died and john charged me $ 500.00 to install a torque converter on a car that was «perfect» only a week earlier.
I came to pick up the car when he said it was supposed to be ready and he told me to come back 3 days later to pick up the car because he did not start working on it yet. He then started cussing at me telling me that I ha
I went back 3 days later and «john» (highly doubt that to be his legal name) told me that the transmission was leaking and I had to purchase a new transmission! Another $ 500. I will make sure to spread the information about this business.
