I have been there twice and both times I have had good service. The crowd is mostly Middle-Eastern but the staff is very welcoming to non-Middle-Eastern patrons. The first time there, the gentleman replacing the charcoal was very courteous and helpful. The price IS a little steep and the $ 25/person minimum purchase keeps it from being a regular hang out. Will definitely return.

I used to love this place when it was Nefertiti’s Café back in the day. It used to be a really chill place, not super trendy and just a place where locals and nearby college students would sit back and smoke some hookah. Sadly though, it’s really changed, the prices have gone up, it’s a lot more chaotic inside and the ambiance really has changed negatively. Seeing that Albany Park has soo many hookah bars I would suggest looking around or if you’re feeling bored, stopping into one of the many Middle Eastern shops and buying your own hookah and doing it at home.

Went for a relaxing evening of hookah on a Friday evening and ended up worried that the owner’s children were going to knock down our hookah before the evening was through. Turkish coffee was good as well as the plum hookah but the children were just annoying for what was expected to be a relaxing atmosphere. Far from it. The owners didn’t even seem to care that their children were playing hide and seek amongst the tables and yelling across the room. We left as soon as possible.

Does Unilocal delete reviews? What happened to the reviews of the three other people who got their credit card numbers stolen. $ 6,000 fine people… I have the letter from the city. Three offenses. Stay away.

I think this is a great place for huge groups to do hookah nights. Staff is friendly and helpful, owner is always there to help you fix any problem you are having. Whenever I go to this place, I end up sending hours just smoking hookah and drinking great tea.

Cheers to an interesting night. I live two blocks away from the restaurant and always wondered about it. My roommate and some friends have been there a couple of times and really enjoy dinner with hookahs. Late on a Saturday night, my roommate called and said«GEt over here you got to see this.» Reluctantly, I got dressed and walked over. A place I usually didnt see many people inside of during lunch and dinner hours was PACKED! Through the hookah smoke I could see a belly dance on stage with a guy singing behind her. What a first impression! I found my friends in the back, next to a bunch of guys in suits. To say the least I felt under dressed when I saw all the women in there club wear.(me, I was sporting a tank top and jeans). As the night progressed, groups of men and women would get on the dance floor performing middle eastern style dances. With a great deal of coasting by your waitress and a couple of the women, our group of not usually customers where on the dance floor butchering traditional dances. Yes, it was great! While the belly dancer would perform a guy in a suit woud toss a wad of money in the air onto the dance floor. Crazy night, completely Chicago

Point-blank: This place rips you off. It has happened to others and it happened to me too. TWICE! We visited the restaurant back in May, and charged a meal of about $ 60. That’s it. While vacationing in Greece in July, two charges showed up on my CC statement for King Tut Entertainment. One was for $ 340, and then two days later another for $ 350. Needless to say, I was livid. When I returned to the US, I went to the restaurant to confront them about these charges. The manager said«just dispute them,» as if it isn’t an issue. When I said I DID dispute it(and am now having to get a replacement credit card and revamp all my online auto-pay milage-plus accounts) he told me that«one of the owners took the CC machine and went to another country with it –about 25 people have come in to complain.» The entire thing is bogus. As I said, I did dispute the charge wiht my CC company(and am being credited), and I am also going to report this CRIME to the Cook County Police and the State’s Atty. Fraud Division(if you’ve had this happen to you, please call the IL State’s Atty. at(312) 603‑8700 and report it). This is disgusting. I wish I could rate it zero stars.

Looked like a good idea at first. BYOB. Arabic Food. Live Band. NOCOVER. Or so it said on the metromix listing. My boyfriend and I got there around 8:30 with our bottles of wine and, since this was his first outing for some real arabic food, we kinda went crazy ordering a bunch of different things. The food was really good and the waitstaff was incredible! The ambience is very nice, very chill, very comfy. The band was supposed to start at 11 but didn’t. We ended up staying until about 2am, drinking our wine and enjoying the hookah(which, by the way, was listed at $ 10 on the menu). Then we get our check. The hookah was now $ 15 and we were charged a $ 25 entertainment fee, that was not listed ANYWHERE! I asked the waitress about it, and she said, «I’m sorry, but that was the owner’s fee. That’s what he does.» So now this owner is dictatng who gets charged and who doesn’t?! I was beyond angry but my more level-headed boyfriend said it wasn’t worth it, we just won’t come back. And it’s a shame because it was a cool place, but I will never return.

Shisha was definitely worth it. Plus live Euro Soccer on big screen did it for me.
