K S Laundry

I went here instead of Super Coin on Broadway just to try someplace new and it’s a bit closer to my apartment. The prices are way cheaper for washing! Had plenty of machines but some of them were out of order. They have one LARGE size machine which I really needed for my blankets and comforter but it was out of order. A couple of the machines had some soap scum and leftover detergent in them so watch out for that. The couple that work here are very nice though! The dinginess doesn’t bother me at all but wish they would have all their machines up and running. There is no coin machine so you have to ask to exchange $ with the owners.

The best spot to do laundry in Wrigleyville! The owners are delightful, friendly and helpful. Machines are always clean, prices are very reasonable. KS has a magical aura, you will leave with clean sheets and a smile.

I love this laundromat! Tons of washers and dryers, and the owners are really friendly and helpful. I know a lot of people have washers in their basements in this neighbourhood, but I will make the trek out there because theirs are bigger, cleaner, and there are so many of them for a comparable price.

I dropped off a jacket, shirt and a pair of slacks for cleaning. When I picked up, only the jacket and slacks were ready. I fly out of town tonight, immediately after work, and KS said they would deliver the shirt to my office beforehand. This is the moment of truth. I will let you know if they keep their promise. I live nearby and use KS Laundry for all my dry cleaning thus far (5 times). I have never had a problem. Drop-​off and pick-​up usually take less than 1 minute. The couple that work are extremely friendly.
I believe there is coin operated laundry in the other half of the building but have not used it before.
The last time I had a suit jacket, suit pants, and dress shirt cleaned. I believe the total was $ 9 for the 3 articles. All the wine on my dress shirt (wedding dance floor accident) got removed and the shirt was as good as new!

This place is great! The couple that works there is fantastic, so helpful with all the questions I had. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood.

K S Laundry is an AWESOME dry cleaners. They are extremely friendly and do an absolutely AMAZING job. Another one of those classic cases of don’t judge a book by it’s cover. I will be returning with my dry cleaning needs in the future.

I love this place. They are excellent. Please don’t be fooled by the divey appearance. It is a very friendly couple that runs this place. They have always done an amazing job with my dry cleaning. It is very reasonable prices. They have always been very flexible with time constraints when I have needed things quickly.

Truly fantastic. They do great work, and have gotten really tough stains out. But beyond that, they are incredibly nice people and do things like help take stuff to your car when you hands are full. They truly care about their customers, and I wont take my laundry anywhere else.

Excellent prices and service. The owners of this small laundry are super nice, and they are open 7 days a week! Although my apartment building has a laundry room, I bring my wash over to K S Laundry every week.

This place is awesome. The owners are the nicest people in the world and in 12 years, have never lost or ruined an item. In fact, we moved to Edgewater and still drive down to use them. Finally, their hours are insane.

I just picked up my white north face parka that was vandalized with RED marker while I was riding on the train! I was devastated that I was going to have to buy a new $ 300 coat, but the adorable couple managed to get all of the marker out and the rest of the coat looks like brand new!
Also, I took a pair of jeans in too, the original hem looks better than the factory hem! I’m amazed!

I have been coming to this dry cleaner since I moved to Chicago (about a year ago). This place is half dry cleaner and half coin laundry. They are both run by an awesome couple (at least they are there ²⁴⁄₇). Some people tell me the prices are a little high and I say that I don’t care because:
If there is no street parking they will let you park in the back and they will give you a sticker so your don’t get towed.
They have gone out of there way to let me and my roommate stay a little late to finish our laundry.
I took a pair of dress pants in there once and the lady made sure to set aside my business cards and their holder so they didn’t get ruined.
I left my umbrella there once and the lady came running out of the store to stop me and give it to me.
Like one guy I was talking to while drying my clothes said, «Man, I moved out of this area about 3 months ago and I still drive over here to do my laundry b/​c these people are so nice.»
Some might say the place is a little dingy, I say sometimes it is more about the people then the place they are running.
