Answer to Tom from Elmwood Park… «you are funny, why don’t you leave a name of other guy when they were so great…» I will omit the fact it could be interpreted two ways, either meant well, either sarcastic… does not matter anyway because I believed it was unappropriate, because I left them positive review — if you just clicked on my reviews you would have find it. And update is — it was after all actually five other neighbors who came and ask them to do an estimate on their trees… Jose, Jose

I called Joses company and they were able to take care of my tree issue right away. They respond promptly to calls and texts. The pricing was reasonable. They followed up with us afterwords to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them and I plan to use them again should the need arise.

I cannot say enough good things about Jose’s Tree Service. From the first phone call for a estimate to job complete. Had a huge Elm trimmed and they couldn’t be more affecient and professional. Cleaned the whole yard up and also helped with filling in a area with wood chips, more like chunky mulch from their chipper. All of the team were very polite and helpful and the tree is trimmed just the way we wanted. We will not be calling anyone else in the future for tree trimming.

Great guys !!! Big tree removal with stump didn’t get it quite well the first called them immediately removed the rest … Very picky customer pleased!

These guys really work hard. They removed a tree from our front yard and trimmed a huge tree in our backyard and were done in less than three hours. When they finished, the grounds were cleaner than when they started. Not the first time we’ve used Jose’s services, and it won’t be the last.

These reviews look great but don’t know why I’ve called 10 times or more and no –one will return my calls. It’s very frustrating, especially when I need professional tree service.

If you need your trees trimmed. Do not bother to call anyone else!
These guys removed a very big very dangerously positioned tree that had grown within and over a utility pole with massive groups of wires in all directions!
The job was completed without disturbing our koi pond situated directly below…
(we had it well covered) but they were extremely professional and mindful.
They let us choose a few branches of our beautiful tree to save and removed the rest. These guys have all the know how and large equipment for the tricky jobs!
AND the price is reasonable on top of that!

I called them after a violent storm left me with numerous tree limbs on my roof as well as a tree and a large branch which needed to be removed. They came out the same day I called to assess the situation and completed the work the following day. My husband and I were extremely pleased with their work. They really know what they are doing and didn’t break the bank doing it. I will call them whenever we need any tree service in the future.

I just had Jose’s team here at my home to take down tree overhangs from my garage. Jose’s team did a beautiful job. Jose’s tree service was fantastic!!! These guys are had workers, fast, incredibly nice and super helpful. Not only did they cut my tree for a great price but they cleaned my gutters and made firewood logs for me and helped my stack them in my garage. Afterwords, they cleaned up the mess the job made! Jose did move the appointment two hours later in the day the night before but this wasn’t an issue for me as I figured I’d have to take a few hours off of work anyhow. Im so happy with the results!

Prompt and professional. Jose was able to visit and provide a written estimate on the same day that I called. His son and crew were by two days later to remove a 4+ story tree… it took about 4 hours without stump removal. They cleaned both our yard and our neighbor’s yard where the tree was hanging and did a great job!

Great service, cleaned up nicely. We had a tree removed and they were on time and fast. I was concerned about the removal of the tree because there were a lot of power and cable lines but they were very careful and the removal was done without damage to anything. Would definitely recommend.

We called Jose’s tree service and received great customer service. He came out and quoted the trees in record time and did a very professional job. That have very reasonable rates!!!

We needed a tree removed after a storm, we tried this service. First try, said he would come check out the damage and call us back which he did NOT follow through on. We called back and left a message with his «secretary» and that was 5 days ago; and no call back to this day. Horrible customer service… Too bad Jose we own many buildings and you could have had more business, now I know NOT to recommend your company.

Jose’s Tree Service is PHENOMENAL!!! After getting several estimates for the job I needed done which was quite substantial he was the most affordable. Jose is professional and courteous, and his crew was really nice. They did the entire job in 2 hours flat and they are very very affordable. When I called to inquire for estimates he came out the same day I called (some tree services were very flaky about coming out and many didn’t return my call). He worked closely with my neighbor to make sure their needs were met as well. I am very happy with their services and they did a great job! Thank you!

Went onto Unilocal to find a company to remove four giant trees in my backyard. Three were dead and the fourth dying (yes, on a chicago lot backyard). I put it off for years because of quotes I had received that were quite high.
I call Jose’, left a message and received a call back promptly. Jose’ came out within the hour and checked out my trees. He gave me a quote on-​the-​spot both trees only and with the stumps removed. His quote floored me. Is was close to ½ what others have quoted. He assured me that his company was insured and we made plans for the upcoming Saturday.
They arrived on time and in force. Around nine workers, a cherry picker, stump remover and two truck to haul the trees away. Jose’ had his insurance agent email a copy of his certificate to me. They worked very hard and fast. A well run team. In the end my trees were gone, neighbors happy, me happy, yard clean, and all in about 8 hours.

I called Jose’s Tree Service after reading the generally positive reviews on Unilocal.I spoke to someone on a Wednesday and scheduled them to give me an estimate on Friday morning at 8am. No one showed up on Friday. I called around 8:30am and they told me they forgot about my appointment. We agreed to reschedule the next day (Satruday) at the same time. Again, they decided not to show up and not to call. So I decided to take my business to someone who knows how to serve a customer.

I was excited to read all of the great reviews & Jose was my first call for our tree removal needs. However I left a message for Jose on his voicemail 4 days ago, then with what sounded like his daughter 2 days ago. I have yet to hear back.
After two failed attempts to reach them I guess I’ll have to move on.
Our dead tree needs to go ASAP.

I had a tree with a branch that broke off and was hanging precariously. I decided just to get rid of the whole tree. In my quest for a tree removal service I went online and came across Jose’s Tree Service.
Jose showed up with a chipper truck and a work crew of four. They had my two trees down in about three hours. The trees were tangled in the electrical, telephone and cable service for three buildings. But Jose’s crew are experts and cut the tree branch by branch. Hence no power, internet or cable outages for me or my neighbors. Good thing because it was Saturday — prime college football viewing time.
They swept and cleaned the loose twigs from the neighbor’s property. Jose is rather soft spoken. He will pick up a saw or broom and help his guys.
Finally, all this great service at a reasonable price. So if you need tree cutting, removal or trimming, Jose is your man.
