When bad things happen to good people, I help them regain control of their lives by ending the pain, hassles, and stresses created by relentless bill collectors, collection lawsuits, wage garnishments, repossessions, foreclosures, and the never-ending cycle of interest and fees that was designed to keep people in debt forever.
I work personally with each and every client to design a plan to end their bill problems. No pushy sales people, no overworked paralegals, just me — a dedicated consumer attorney who wants to get you a fresh start so you can start rebuilding your life.
My clients wake up after a good night’s sleep without tossing and turning worrying about bills and the embarrassment of being found out. They enjoy the day with the peace of mind that comes with knowing their credit problems have been taken care of quietly and privately. They answer their phones because they know it’s a friend calling, not another debt collector.

History
Established in 2009.
I started my law practice fresh out of law school with the goal of offering personalized and attentive legal services to consumers that the giant, high-volume firms that advertise on TV can’t.
Consumers don’t need a sales consultant that takes their money and then passes the file off to a legal assistant; who gets their information and prepares the petition and schedules; who then, in turn, passes the file off to an attorney who briefly reviews the cases with the consumers, gets their signatures, and files them — and who likely will not be the same attorney that represents them at their trustee meetings.
Consumers facing debt problems need an attorney that will get to know them and their unique situations. When I decided to become an attorney, I envisioned a very personal consumer law practice in which every consultation is with the attorney that is going to help the consumer come up with a plan and then execute that plan — all while keeping it affordable. Then I created it!

When I’m not helping people get their financial lives under control, I spend a lot of my time thinking about how I can improve upon access to, and delivery of, legal services in order to make every engagement as client-centric as possible. By utilizing technology such as Skype, FaceTime, DropBox, etc., I can conveniently represent people from all over Chicagoland without them ever having to come to my physical office.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing jazz, blues, funk, and R&B guitar and bass, brewing beer, raising my amazing daughter, and spending time with friends and family.
