Had car insurance with State Farm for several years. Slightly pricey but expected. No concerns for the first few years. Due to circumstances that happened before signing up for State Farm, one of the drivers (4 cars insured), required an SR22. Being loyal customers for several years, we thought that it wouldn’t be an issue. WRONG!!! We contacted this office and were told that they only do SR22 for existing customers. We drove there and met with an agent. He stated that he foresaw no problems. Two weeks later, we receive a notice of cancellation for one of the policies. We thought it was a mistake and called our agent. Several times, we were told that they would rectify the issue. We would call to follow up and several times were told that the agent was busy, or that the agent was still looking into the issue and would call us back shortly. Perhaps someone should explain to them the definition of «shortly». Time was of the essence. The policy would end and my license was at stake. After several weeks and at least one visit to their office, we were told that the policy would not be reinstated because of «high risk». So, this is more like a catch-​22. Sure they’ll provide you with an SR22 but will move to cancel your policy shortly after that. What a bunch of crock. The agent went as far as telling us that only one of the policies would be affected but the other cars would continue with insurance through them. Was he for real? What a funny guy. We cancelled all policies with State Farm and took our business elsewhere.
Did this office stop caring about customer service? We don’t recall it being this way several years back when we first went there. The SR22 was required by the State for something that was out of our control. Big government — good luck fighting it. Easier and cheaper to just accept their terms and move on. And State Farm, even though we provided them with all the proof and paperwork, still chose to cancel that one policy. I don’t know if Joe Cichon is aware of the incompetent staff that he has working for him. Totally disappointed with their lack of follow through on returning calls, etc.
Poor customer service!!! Poor follow through! Happy to be done with them. Why would they even think that I would not cancel all of my other policies and take my business elsewhere? After such poor attention to their customers, I’m glad that we are no longer with State Farm.

My family has been with Joe Cichon’s State Farm agency for years. Now I use them and am extremely happy. They always take care off us, and treat us like family.
