Management is a joke, drinks are garbage. Asked them to fix my drink since it was flavorless. The managers response was«you need to pay of you want more flavor» wtf?! It was flavorless! Then they give me this crap about the recipe. If you want a good coffee just stick to starbucks. Beside the fact that the drinks are garbage, its overpriced. The manager acts like he pays for the supply lol. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. The customer is always right, don’t forget that. You guys need to Work on your customer service. Ever heard of «Give em the pickle»? Search it up it might educate you on the meaning of customer service.(Jazzman’s @utrgv)… Waste of $ 5 and change.

Nestled in an entryway to one of the UofChi hospitals, between two rotating doors and a police/security station, this little coffee and snack stand sells the basic Starbucks-esque fare. Not super expensive, but not quite as cheap as the beloved/dreaded cafeteria, you can plan to spend around 10 $ for a coffee and sandwich. Nevertheless, I’m glad it’s here.

This place has EXCELLENT coffee and EXCELLENT customer service. The baristas are prompt, friendly, and precise drink-makers. Favorites: Caramel latte(not too sweet) Caramel machiatto tall(it’s in a small cup — direct shots of espresso) Vanilla latte(also not too sweet) Any drip coffee. Also: their PASTRIES are to DIEFOR! The cinnamon roll is a treat(probably too many calories), the sugar cookie and chocolate chip cookie are a meal in themselves(and a delicious one at that) and the muffins are out of this world. Recommend. Any and every day. Cons:(not anything to deter a visit though, trust me) Prices: no, I’m not feeling those, but what can you do? I believe this café is also located in the Museum of Science and Industry, just down the road, as well as the Knapp Center. Other con — no seating :(. Located inside hospital(it’s in the lobby so you do not need an ID). Still, I really enjoy this place and would recommend it for all coffee and pastry lovers.
