J14 Bus Stop

The J-​14 is a bus line that has non stop service from 67^th Street and Jeffrey to 11^th Street in Downtown Chicago. It is a great concept because you are able to arrive in downtown in 15 minutes.
The downside is that if you are boarding at 67^th Street, please be prepared to stand throughout the whole ride. It is always packed during rush hour and the people don’t move to back of the bus. Thank God that I am not claustrophobic.
An option is that if you don’t want to get on the J14 on 67^th and Jeffrey, you can board on the 26 South Shore Express across the street. It would be wise to download the CTA app on your smartphone.

The J 14 bus can get you downtown in 10 mins or less depending on the traffic from 67^th and Jeffrey!
In the mornings and during rush hour the bus is usually packed! I try to make sure I don’t have to be on the bus during those times because people don’t like to move to the back and because the seats are small sometimes you are squeezed next to the other person like a can of sardines!
