I had been doing business with this company for years. I switched to a mac and the system isn’t able to be updated via mac So we were emailing name changes etc. They never told us that there would be a service charge of $ 94.00 for each time, until we got an invoice. I reached out and was told that we had paid them before, One slipped through and got paid. However when asked why this wasn’t mentioned ever before. We were told that this could be done manually and would send the manual. When asked why this wasn’t presented earlier, I got nothing. They then spent time and money to send an invoice to almost every owner. I asked them again about when they said they were were going to charge $ 94.00 and nothing We had referred ISS to a couple of people and one was a 50K deal, they are ok pre sale, but post sale terrible. I highly recommend not using them as service and support are terrible I called to speak with one of our contacts, I asked him to explain where we were advised that their would be a charge and why we hadn’t been charged. He was very rude, said you pay for services rendered, «It is my fault for using a MAC» He then hung up on me VERYUNPROFESSIONALCOMPANY!!!

Hmmmm… I have called them and called them to get an appointment and they just don’t show up. We want to move an intercom line within our condo unit(really not brain surgery) and I can’t get an ISS tech to my building for love or money(seriously, I offered). First, they forgot about our appointment. I’m a busy guy, but this is important to us so I made time to be in the house at the scheduled time(«sometime after 3»). Well, I called to confirm since I just want this DONE, and the guy STILLDIDN’T SHOWUP. HEFORGOT. Yep, he forgot. Waste of my time. So they said that I’ll be «first on the list tomorrow morning» which means 8am. I am an early riser, so NBD I’ll be there. When I called them at 7:15 to confirm the office was closed. Called again at 7:45 it was still closed. Called at 9:15 and the office was closed!!! It’s a weekday! By 10:15, I was able to get a hold of someone, who I had to call back since they didn’t return my call like they said they would, who finally got a tech to call me. He said they were«stuck» on the South Side and might be able to make it by 4pm. Well, I’ve already lost a work day to you guys. Forget it! I’ll just find someone else.

I’d worked for a property management company where we had intercoms in a couple of our buildings by the Intercom Security Store. The company was always easy to deal with; from the secretary in the office who’d fax us an up-to-date Certificate of Insurance to the prompt and efficient service people who knew what they were doing when something, a rare occasion, needed fixing. I changed jobs. When we needed an estimate for a new intercom and security camera system at my new management company, I suggested who to call. The salesman was very helpful and helped my boss choose the right products for what he needed. Because of my past experience with the company, I knew I could recommend the Intercom Security Store without worry. Mark, the salesman, didn’t come off as pushy, but did come off as knowledgeable. The installation went smoothly and their installers were mindful of our vintage building’s original moldings and nooks and crannies. We will be using them again. They are honest and give great value.

After a break-in and a few reports of suspicious activity at an apartment building I own I decided it was time to install a couple cameras and an alarm system. These guys were extremely helpful identifying the right system for me, and they didn’t try to upsell me into products I didn’t need like a couple other places I talked to. I’ve only had the system for a couple weeks but I haven’t had any problems and I’ll definitely call these guys again if ever have any intercom/security needs at my other properties.

By far worst experience I have ever had with any store ever. I do not know how they are still open. I would really recommend finding someone else to service you.
