As a CPA and Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor®, Dave helps businesses with their financial recordkeeping and their business and personal taxes. He also enjoys using his cross-​functional experience and MBA in entrepreneurship to help small businesses with issues facing emerging or growing companies.

Dave also shares his experience, expertise and entrepreneurial passion by teaching various courses at DePaul University’s College of Commerce, including; Business Plan Development, Corporate Venture Management, and Operations Management. He has also served as a member of the Illinois CPA Society’s Pass Through Organizations Taxation Committee enhancing his expertise and access to tax laws and strategies for S-​Corps, LLCs and Partnerships.

With over 30 years of progressive experience, Dave delivers results with cross-​functional expertise in finance and accounting, marketing, sales and operations.

Dave started his career as a CPA in public accounting, then controller in a growing company, moving into contract negotiations. Understanding customer needs and using his finance and accounting background as a tool, Dave was able to solve their business issues. His financial approach in sales led to success in sales and sales management of emerging technological products and services. His entrepreneurial spirit, vision and leadership contributed to building a voice and data outsourcing business from $ 1M to $ 70M in six years by developing and implementing strategy, service offerings, contracts, and pricing structure. He managed customer relationships — directing client solution architecting and implementation, negotiating contracts and managing solutions delivery.

Dave founded Impact Financial Solutions, Inc. in 2007.
