I woke up early one morning with sudden abdominal pain and rushed into this facility to figure out the cause. After a great appointment with Dr. Kathya Valdez, we discovered it was likely appendicitis. I followed her directions, went and got a CT scan to discover that I indeed needed an emergency appendectomy. Dr. Valdez was super nice and helpful — she even called ahead to the ER to inform them of my arrival. Everything following was pretty seamless, and the staff at Immediate MD followed up with me the day after surgery. Considering I don’t live in Chicago and these were not *my* docs, I felt very taken care of. I am so grateful to Dr. Valdez!

Fantastic clinic. Only a few forms to fill out and I waited only 10 minutes. Staff was knowledgable and friendly. I was diagnosed and out the door with a script within 20 minutes. They also texted to see if I was doing ok as well as called me with some additional test results. Yay!

I went to this place and I met dr Ghazzi because I was having a painful digestion since few weeks ago. When I described my symptoms she said that I have stomach acid and told me that I need acid relievers. I told her immediately that I have intolerance to this class of medicines and two years ago I have been two times at the ER after consuming Protonix and Famotodine, and few days ago my boss had to call an ambulance at work because I was going to pass out after taking Mylanta. They cause a diarrhea, skin rash, very high blood pressure, dizziness, and difficulty breathing. She insisted that I have to take acid reliever and sent me to the pharmacy to buy Prilosec and Tums. I did it and I got back to her office. I took just one pill Prilosec and it made me feel sick. She immediately checked my blood pressure that raised significantly and my pulse jumped from 75 to 105. When she saw the reaction she told me to stop taking any medicines and to make a diet of eating oatmeal and non acidic fruits. So I paid $ 130 to be sent home with a diet of oatmeal because I don’t have insurance! Few days later I called to ask for a GI referral and for some reason they refused to give it to me. So how come you are unable to help a patient but at the same time you don’t want to refer it to a specialist? I have only one word for the «doctors» working in this office: MORONS!
P. S. And no, dr. Ghazzi, I don’t have panic attacks. I got my referral along with a full blood test from a different clinic. And you better throw your doctor’s degree in the garbage.

I came in here 30 minutes before close because my boyfriend had suffered from a painful rolled ankle. The facility was clean and all the staff were incredibly nice! Tom assisted my boyfriend in a physical check and then proceeded to properly wrap his broken ankle. Tom was super attentive, caring, and willing to put some humor into the situation which was greatly appreciated! Dr. Annie was awesome as well! She recommended x-​rays and then walked us through the entire process that would occur moving forward. We ended up staying 30 minutes past close and did not feel rushed or unwanted. All members of the staff were willing to stay until we felt comfortable with the situation. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for any immediate medical needs.

I needed help with an injured wrist. I felt I just needed an x-​ray and an opinion on what was revealed by the image and evaluation. Everyone there, Tom, at the desk, Andrea, the x-​ray tech and Dr Ferrone, was helpful, thorough and professional. I now know that my wrist issue isn’t too serious and I have a brace which is helping to stabilize it. I arrived at about 3:30 and left by 4:40. Great experience!

I went here right when they opened today for a sinus/​ENT issue. Showed up just before 8a, filled out my form, and was called in in less 15 minutes. Front desk was so nice, reception area was very clean. Free granola bars and water bottles available as well.
Doctor was very nice, accommodating to all my questions, and even sent me home with a homeopathic cold remedy of sorts (in addition to a nasal spray sample and all the prescriptions I needed).

I am in love with this place! The receptionist was kinda rude at first but when I sassed back at her she straightened up. There is no parking which kinda sucks (paid only).
BUT it is WORTH IT.
I have been to many many many doctors for a car accident neck injury and this is the first place that took actual care of me. Dr. Valdez is the one I would recommend to see. She took amazing care of me and took the time to find out what was wrong, and them offer VALUABLE feedback and out of the box solutions. She is knowledgeable and hardworking. Dr. Valdez even took my phone call twice later the same day.

This place is really great. The staff is really nice and I was able to see someone quickly. They were very detailed in their process and took a good amount of time with me.
Too many of these places take too long to get you back and then take too little time once they see you. Not the case here. Nice job.

I am incredibly disappointed that I came here and even more disappointed in the care that I received. I came in with what I thought was an ear piercing infection because my ear lobe was swollen and red and had some yellow discharge.
I arrived at the clinic, and probably the only good thing about my experience was that the facility seemed clean and that I was seen right away. The nurse took me back and took my vitals, and she told me to take the earring out. I politely said I would not because rule #1 with infected piercings is to NOT take the earring out because the piercing will close and lose its ability to drain, forming an abscess under the skin. I explained this to both the nurse and the doctor, and they didn’t push the issue, but I could hear them rudely talking about me outside of the exam room.
When Dr. Tatiana Batista came in to see me, she seemed nice enough, and she pronounced that the piercing was infected. She prescribed me an antibiotic, and she also, not so gently, took a culture of the pus by squeezing it out of my ear lobe. The pain was overwhelming and made me woozy, so I laid down on the table. They brought me water, but the nurse came back a few minutes later with my prescription and told me I could leave. Not one person asked if I was feeling better or told me I could stay a few more minutes if I needed to. Still lightheaded, I got up and left, and took a lollipop from the basket on the way out which prompted the receptionist to condescendingly talk to me in a baby voice: «Did you get a lollipop for not crying?»
I am insulted by the service I received here, and it only gets worse: I arrived back home about 20 minutes later and upon cleaning my piercing, I noticed that my ear had swallowed the back of my earring. The Dr. specifically looked at the back of my ear and didn’t say anything! I consider this to be the equivalent of intentionally causing me harm and encourage everyone to never go here for care because you’ll walk out with a prescription and nothing more.
As it turns out, my piercing wasn’t infected at all. I went promptly to a piercing parlor where they told my my ear was not infected at all. The piercing professional quickly and painlessly removed the back of the earring from inside my ear and thoroughly cleaned the ear for me. Two days later (after not taking the antibiotic) my ear is 100% better, all thanks to the service I received from the piercing parlor FOR FREE, not because of the poor service I received at Immediate MD after a $ 50 co-​pay. I’m dreading the bill I will receive from them later for the needless culture they took.

This place is a joke! Your better off going to the clinic in cvs! All I had was a sore throat and needed an antibiotic. The «physician» had to call someone to see what to do because he had no idea!!! Then went as far as to take a mono test and X-​ray!!! Sooo unnecessary! I had a virus!!! I think they just got the X-​Ray machine and wanted to use it! Or they needed the money since there were no patients! Of coarse it came back that all I have is a virus and needed an antibiotic! And I’ll be getting a huge bill just for that! They took 2 hours too!!! For a simple virus! And it wasn’t waiting to be seen. It took 2 hours for them to figure out all I had was a virus!!! Stay away from this place!!!

Had an excellent first experience there today.
Registered online before visiting the office so I was in their system before arriving.
Kind, compassionate, staff, and very clean facilities.
Dr. Horner was fantastic. Personable, engaging, and kind. He listened to me and took my opinions seriously (I was raised by a nurse and do a lot of self-​diagnosis). I’m only disappointed that they’re not functioning as a primary care facility yet, because I would certainly choose Dr. Horner as mine.

Let me start off by saying… I very much dislike going to doctors offices and will do anything and everything in my power to avoid it.
However, when it came to the point where my body decided to take all it’s anger out and strain me so much that I can no longer maintain the strength to hold a pint of beer, I was forced to look for a doctor.
I needed something quick and hassle free, and here that’s what I got. Went on the website, was able to register my information beforehand (which is awesome since most of the time spent at doctors offices is filling out these applications), and walked in with no appointment Sunday morning.
Thought it would be packed but no one was there and the gentlemen at the front desk got everything going right when I walked in. (I was nervous and couldn’t answer him properly when he asked me what I’ve come in for…) Just had to fill up a few things about my medical history sign here sign there and about 5 min in my name was called.
The assistant did all the quick checkup so told him what’s wrong with me, and then 5 more min later Dr. Horner was there to see me. He checked what’s going on while we chit chatted, and the next thing I knew he diagnosed me and told me what medication I would need.
Everybody was super nice here and they’re good at what they do. I was out of there in 20 minutes, got what I needed. (Walked right over to the walgreens across the street to get my medication) This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I now know where I need to go if my body ever decided to rebel again.

I had a great experience here! It’s easy to register online before your appointment (you still have to fill out a few forms when you get there) but it was very smooth and I was seen right away. I went right after they opened and I was the only one there (I think it’s a new place, so that might be why too). Clean, nice waiting room with keurig and other snacks/​refreshments and a TV playing the news. They did a rapid strep test right there and the doctor came in right away. She was very nice. Said they’d call in 2 days to follow up. No complaints so far!
