Hudson Group At Midway Airport

The Hudson’s Book Corner co-​located with Hudson News and the Euro Café (at the edge of the food court on the way to concourse A), has one of the best and most-​well curated small collections of non-​fiction books anywhere. Everything else about the place is irrelevant. If you need a good book for your trip, these two shelves will provide. That is all.

First and foremost, I hate my self for paying $ 2.29 for a pack of gum, but I had a cold and forgot to bring my own gum for the flight. I liked the selection of souvenir items especially the shot glasses and magnets. What was really off-​putting about this store was the employees. There were two older African American women at the counter in the middle of the store who were talking about their personal lives and other employees very loudly. When I went to the counter to pay they rudely told me to go over to the counter in the back (where the refrigerated food was on display) so the other employees could ring me up. Overall, good selection of overpriced items (what else do you expect from an airport) and poor customer service.

A little on the pricey side but convenient when you’re in need of some reading material for your flight!
