History

Established in 2006.

HLN began as a spin-​off from Zelda Robinson’s days as a Radio Personality at many of Chicago’s finest radio stations, including but not limited to WNUA, (Smooth Jazz) WSSD (Blues) WJPC Dusties, WGCI-​AM 1390 DUSTY RADIO, Gospel Radio) to CLTV Traffic Reporter to Producer/​Host of HLN-​TV.

She discovered that the youth tours at the radio station for children were great experiences, as they were in such awe of the radio personalities, but didn’t have a clue as to how the business of radio affects their lives.

As a result, she founded the Higher Learning Network, NFP teaching youth behind-​the-​scenes radio/​tv/​print production. Other workshops/​seminars include, but not limited to: How To Self-​Publish & Keep 100% Profit! How To Market Online Using Social Media, How To Get Free Grant Money for Business, Scholarships and more.

Her years of working in media has allowed her the opportunity to work with businesses to increase their online presence via web as well as the HLN TV Talk Show.
