Established in 2003.

Growing up in Dubai, UAE I had a thing for Art. I use to draw flowers, paisley and had a keen interest in drawing curves. Drawing and painting was my interest until I discovered henna at the age of six. I started taking interest in Henna and therefore went to Karachi’s Henna Institute Meena Bazaar for training in 2001. Came to Chicago and started Hennaz Art in 2003.

Based in Chicago, IL, I give my clients a relaxing henna experience, with the utmost unique henna design and fill your event with the most beautiful art work.

Growing up in Dubai, UAE I had a thing for Art. I use to draw flowers, paisley and had a keen interest in drawing curves. Drawing and painting was my interest until I discovered henna. At the age of six, to my family’s surprise I drew a henna design with paisleys on a piece of paper. Since that day whenever I found a henna cone I just couldn’t stop using it.

My lovely nani (grandma) was astound when she saw me taking a keen interest in henna and therefore she took me for Henna/​Mehndi training to the most well known place for Henna in karachi, Pakistan called Meena Bazaar. Soon after that I came to Chicago and would apply henna on special events at Ali Hair Stylist on Devon.

I started applying henna professionaly at the age of 12 but started my bussiness in 2003. I give my clients a relaxing henna experience, with the utmost unique henna design and fill your event with the most beautiful art work.

I wish I could meet more people like Huda! She was sweet and very talented. I enjoyed our conversation during the application of the henna and she made sure I was comfortable as possible. Such a lovely person. I will definitely be recommending her and will be back soon!

Huda did an excellent job on my henna. I selected a print that I found online and presented it to her on spot. She not only duplicated each elaborate detail, but she suggested an alteration that significantly improved the overall outcome.
The only drawback is the life-​span of the henna. She worked on my hand (from finger tips to mid-​forearm), and the entire art lasted 4 days, with the fifth day only having remnants of the art.
Huda is incredibly sweet, and accommodating; you’ll always feel welcomed in her presence.

Sweet, creative, and soft spoken — Getting your henna done at Hudas feels like a spiritual spa retreat. She weaves her art with complete eloquence. Me and my sisters are going back for our third time since meeting her. I am obsessed with henna and I recently stopped by a salon on devon to get my hands done. I was soooo shocked with how bad it was! I asked the lady to stop and paid her my money. Then I went to another salon (Deebas) and the same thing happened even after I waited for their most experienced henna artist. I find myself comparing everybody to Hudas henna and being completely disatisfied. Do yourself some love, this is the place. Thank you so much Huda!

Huda is an absolute gem!!! she came to my house and spent more than 5 hours giving me the most beautiful and intricate Indian bridal henna and then worked on 10 additional people the same day and gave them all beautiful designs as well. She was awesome to work with and was willing to stay an extra hour when we were running behind.
The next day she came to my mehndi night and applied henna to about 70 women in 2 hours. Everyone was amazed and loved her designs.
My bridal henna came out so beautiful and dark and my pictures came out wonderfully. She has such a great personality and natural talent and it made it an amazing experience to work with her.
When I was researching mehndi artists, I was getting quoted some astronomical rates for bridal henna and hourly rates and the designs they showed weren’t really as intricate as I wanted. I am lucky that I came across Hennaz Art because her designs are awesome and her prices are even better!

Huda is one of the most amazing artist I have ever seen & worked with. Her talent is beyond what words could explain. She has had such a natural talent of creating art… the liquid form of henna should feel honored to be used by such artist.
Aside from the professional end, Huda is also a sweetheart, she is who she is and her personality is what makes it a more, amazing, experience working with her.
Amidst all the stress of a wedding, she makes you feel at ease while performing amazing art on you… NO, I am not kidding, I know it sounds crazy but having to plan my wedding in a matter of 3 weeks, w/​o any help and having Huda do such amazing work as well as be so considerate and entertaining, was a blessing.
I love the work you do Huda. I am sorry for the late review, I hope this makes your business boom. You should def consider hiring other people and train them. You’re amazing! Thank you for your beautiful work on my wedding. Your henna was the talk of the night with my white gown! The deep color of your henna made sure to make the night memorable.

An awesome henna artist, very professional and her work is amazing, she came over for my baby shower and did a great job on all my guess, everybody was very satisfy. she works really fast and her designs are really neat, and her prices are really great.

Huda graciously volunteer 1.5 hours of her time to give women with disabilities amazing henna tattoos!!!
She was like a machine and everyone in the women’s shelter got one!
The designs were beautiful and complex; each one unique. She was able to modify application based on the person’s request (around the wrist, upper arm, etc.) and was thoroughly professional!
Her skill set and generosity were amazing! This is the real deal people!
Do not go elsewhere!

I just got back from my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday party. Huda was our henna tattoo artist. From the minute she walked in until the minute she left, she was nothing short of an amazing tattoo artist! She was very sweet, humble (the girls were fascinated by her artistic ability) and very much a professional in her art. Some of the girls wanted more than 1 tattoo (my daughter included) and Huda was very quiet, sweet and oh so patient with these 16 yr olds!
I dont know how to compare Huda to another henna artist, I have never done this before, but if anything else, her prices are great and she is the sweetest woman!

Huda is amazing and definitely the most talented Henna artist in the Chicago land area. She did my bridal henna summer of 2010 and the design turned out gorgeous. My hands normally don’t stain dark but she makes her own henna, I don’t know what it is that this woman does but the color of her henna comes out very deep & last long. Her rates are fairly reasonable, in fact no one in Chicago will do as good of a job as she does for the price. She did both of my hands up to elbow and both legs in less than 3 hours. I was very pleased with my bridal henna and would highly recommend Hennaz art for any occasion.

so far the best henna tattoo artist in Chicago that i know of. Very very creative. very passionate about her work. Affordable prices. She did my sister’s bridal henna, my eid henna; did an amazing job.!! i’ll definitely recommend her!!!
