H&R Block

I had the worst experience at this H&R Block location. One of the reps (Angel) was berating a customer who came in with questions. In front of other clients, he very loudly explained that «H&R Block is in the business of making money» and how he didn’t have time to answer the man’s questions unless he was getting paid. Rude, embarrassing, and uncomfortable for the customer and for the rest of us waiting.
But the COMPLETE deal breaker… Hector. Hector prepared my taxes and made no attempt whatsoever to explain anything that I had questions about. He would ask a question, but when I told him I didn’t understand what he meant or what the credits were he was referring to he would just type in information and move along as if I didn’t just ask a question. I’m not confrontational, so I didn’t say anything to him thinking «well, he’s the professional». Well, apparently Hector didn’t know what the heck he was doing. When I got home and reviewed everything I found that my tax return was short. VERY short! I’m talking over a $ 1,000. Do NOT allow Hector to do your taxes and avoid this location at all cost! Now I’ll have to file an amendment due to something that was his fault.
