I was born and raised on the north side of Chicago and a graduate of Lane Tech High School. I have been in the painting business since 1991 and am a PDCA certified contractor. My company provides excellent work at fair prices, a company you can trust and count on for all of your painting related needs.

I contacted Mike (Greenworks Painting) to paint 3 rooms for my newly purchased house. Since it’s a new house we would like the best quality of paint and painter available, and Mike’s team did an excellent job. He carefully talked to me on the phone regarding each details in the rooms’ photos I provided, before giving a quote. He mentioned that he prefers to use better quality paint (Benjamin Moore), and that’s exactly what I was looking for. His team is on time, courteous and did a great job on painting over a very dark-​red room. His quote is very reasonable and much better than other quotes I received. He responds very quickly as well.
My wife and I was impressed when we check on his work. The wall is spotless and match almost exactly the other rooms’ color.
Would definitely work with Mike and Greenworks painting again. I have nothing to complain and everything from them spells good business.

Mike and his crew are great! Just painted and wallpapered 3 bed 2 bath condo and it looks brand new! Painted every surface in condo from walls to ceilings to every piece of trim work and it looks amazing! I highly recommend Greenworks for your painting needs. The whole process was easy from start to finish and Mike answers text and calls quickly. He even suggested that the last coat of hallway paint be done AFTER the move in in case the movers dinged the walls or trim. Now that’s great customer service! Thank you for a job well done!

We had a wonderful experience with Mike and Greenworks which came in the middle of a horrible housing situation. We had just purchased and closed on our condo, Mike was scheduled to come 4 days after, giving us time to check out the space and pick colors. (Added bonus he uses Benjamin Moore… Hooray for having access to all the best colors!)
We discover the sellers sold us a wet mess! Our walls were soaked and need major repairs. This was a terrible experience that Mike made a little easier. Instead of charging for rescheduling, he worked around our schedules as we rebuilt and even sent a painter to finish the job on a SUNDAY so the job would be finalized for our movers on Monday. I am so impressed with the professionalism and empathy that was shown to us. Mike and his team went above and beyond, I am so thankful for their flexibility and of course the quality of the work is outstanding! I’ll post pictures, the trim and edges are flawless!

Mike and his team were a joy to work with! They were able to paint 2 rooms in my new apartment on very short notice. Also, Mike steered me in the right direction when it came to paint finish. A friend of mine said to go with a semi-​gloss paint, but Mike offered is professional opinion and recommended eggshell. The result: 100% satisfied customer.

Henry came by today to patch my ceiling from an unfortunate leak. He was very polite and did a great job. Not only did the work turn out great, but he cleaned up immaculately. I’ve had contractors in my place before and even when they clean it’s still kind of a mess. I was very impressed all around and would use Greenworks again and recommend the company to friends.

We’re comfortable with painting, but all of the plaster repair and prep work is both too time consuming and beyond our abilities to do well. So when we started on our hallway/​stairway area, we got a quote to prep and paint.
It came back too high for us (though by no means unreasonable) and Mike was only too happy to revise the quote to just prep the walls ready for paint.
And that’s just what they did. When Henry was gone, he left the walls smooth and ready to be primed and painted.
They remain highly recommended.

Very unprofessional. I had 2 houses that needed painting. Called Mike and gave him the address of one house and he told me he would stop by in the following week and give me an estimate. After 3 weeks passed and I had no heard from him, I called him again. He agreed to meet me at the second house and to give me the estimate for the first house and also for the second house. Now, 5 weeks later I have still heard nothing from him. Would NOT recommend!

We got a quote from Mike last year, but chose another painter. After a less than satisfactory experience, we decided to give Greenworks a try this summer. We are glad we did. The price was competitive and the work quality was very good. Henry and his team completed the work in a timely manner. They were professional at all times. They were careful, respectful, clean, punctual, and friendly.

Mike and his team are true professionals who take their job seriously, make the customer feel comfortable throughout the process and do what they say they are going to do.
During our consultation Mike helped coach me (a neophyte in the intricacies of painting) through the process. I learned about different types of paint and how important it was to pick the right paint and use the proper process to get the highest quality sustainable solution.

I had Greenworks Painting clean and stain a two-​story deck and clean and prime a front porch. I called multiple painters, and Mike was the only person who took the time to come to the property to give an appraisal. We are super impressed with the work that Greenworks did in our townhouse. Mike, the owner, got back to us very quickly with a competitive bid on our wallpaper job. A highly skilled professional, Henry, arrived at our townhouse on time, fitting us into his schedule with a time that worked best for us.
Best of all was the awesome work that Henry did in wallpapering our new bathroom. Henry shared with us how he always thinks through the layout first and then makes the best decision on how to lay the paper. He is a true artisan, and we could not be happier with the work that was done in our home!

Don’t even bother with another company if you live in Chicago.
Mike and his team of Henry, Tim, and Johnny are superb professionals, do fantastic work at reasonable prices, and are all-​around nice people.
It was totally refreshing working with them after dealing with subpar contractors for other projects.
I used them to repaint our apartment lobby, and also to do some drywall patching and painting. Everything looks perfect.
On-​time, efficient, and quality work at a fair price. What more could you ask for?

I found Greenworks online as I was getting quotes to paint just one room. They were one of the most reasonably priced, and very professional on the phone, so I hired them. They were in and out the next day, and the paint job was gorgeous when I got home from work. Definitely recommend.

Very impressed. No nonsense, straight to the point, and was able to squeeze me in (for a small job) quickly because I was on a time crunch. Mike answered all my questions, was on time for the estimate and was extremely nice. When painting day came, the 2 painters were also on time, very friendly and did an INCREDIBLE job. I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely use Greenworks again and recommend them to anyone who is looking for painters.

All I could say is WOW!!! We where selling our home and the realtor told us we will get more money for the house if we repainted. That was the last thing I wanted to do. I meet with Mike from Greenworks Painting and walked him threw the house. Mike gave me a price which was much lower then I thought it would be. They stared the work 2 days latter while I was out of town. When I returned from my trip I could not believe how great the place looked. My wife told me how professional the painters were and that after they left everyday they would clean up and you would have never know that were at the house during the day.
We would like to thank Mike and his crew for the great job.

Can I give 6 Stars?
I was suggested to give Greenworks a call for a project I’ve been putting off. I needed a few walls painted (outside and inside) with various shades. I almost did this myself. Thank God I called. In no particular order, why I give 5 stars:
1. My plan was backwards. If I did it my way, I would wasted a lot of time.
2. Mike was very informative, he gladly walked me through the process.
3. His crew was punctual, professional and the outcome met my expectations.
4. Mike followed up throughout the process and when completed.
5. His quote stood, no surprises and they finished when they said they would.
Bonus, I asked him for input on a side project I was working on (garage floor). Not only did he advice me, he lent me a few tools! I know this is not customary but dang, what a good dude. I half heartily resisted but he insisted that it wasn’t a big deal.
Am I satisfied? Absolutely.

Greenworks and the owner Mike have been excellent to work with. Mike responded to my inquiry for a quote within minutes and provided what I thought to be a very fair estimate for my job. Mike’s painter Angel was courteous, on time, and did a very thorough job.
I can’t say enough about Mike’s customer service. We had a small issue with our job and Mike was at my house in (literally) minutes to see how he could make it right and get the work done to my satisfaction. Responsiveness like that does not go unnoticed by me. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Greenworks again because of this phenomenal customer service. 5 star all the way!
