History

Established in 1921.

Welcome to The Green Door Tavern; a city-wide favorite! Stop by to sample from their wonderful craft beer selection and stay for a meal. Executive Chef, Dirk Flanigan, of the Gage, has given The Green Door Tavern’s menu a face lift and we encourage you to check it out!

From its earliest days, The Green Door Tavern has been a Chicago favorite. While over the years the menu has evolved, the Green Door remains committed to delivering the authentic, old-school Chicago
