Born and raised Chicagoan… I always had an affinity for real estate as I remember moving a lot when I was younger. My brother and I changed 5 grade schools growing up and although that was real hard on us I remember being at the closing tables and the excitement when it was done and the keys were exchanged.

Even though I didn’t start working as a realtor right away I always knew that I would get licensed at some point. I started my construction/​remodeling business in 1995 and in 1997 when I got engaged we used the money to buy our first flip, a HUD foreclosure property in Carpentersville. I remember getting caught up in a bidding war with another guy and ended up paying 10k more than I wanted to. We still ended up making about 15k for a couple months work… at that time that was pretty good.

6 years later I got my real estate license… it took a while to learn the business with many ups and downs but I am constantly working and improving my skills and loving every minute of it!
