Food is good. Owner is great, he always make sure you’re satisfied and ordering exactly what you want. My only issue are the order takers in person and over the phone. Its like they have an attitude and sometimes the order is slightly incorrect when you arrive. Overall, they’re always open when I need something to nibble on.

Whoever took our order on the phone did not sound like she should be taking the order over the phone not to pleasant. Still waiting for food now so crossing my fingers that it all comes right.

While I’m not a fan of their mexican food, but that’s just me being picky about mexican food outside of actually cooking it mysefl. Gomez is a south chicago staple. Don’t get me wrong their mexican food is well enough(my mom always orders their tacos), but I always much rather prefer their americanized staples. Their bacon double cheeseburger is always huge and so good. Their pizzas slices are awesome. And I love ordering the fries with the orange hot sauce! Any south sider has to know that.

Yesterday I got on the Metra and the entire metra car smelled like a Pepe’s or mexican restaurant. Of course this made me now want some mexican food. Normally I would stop by Cocula but lately they have been really rude so i’ve made up my mind not to patronize them until they get it together! Recently I received a flyer stuck on my door for Gomez Tacos’s and this was the perfect time to give them a try. They are supppppper slow. It was like 3 ppl in total in the restaurant and it took about 20 minutes to get my 3 tacos. I made up in my mind this was the one and only chance they got from me. But! When i got home and opened my food i was plesantly surprised. The tacos were nice and fat and piled high was goodness. The food was good, not great, but good.

great food and great service, My favorite food to order from them is the Qasadillia chicken dinner. My mom’s favorite meal is the steak burrito with extra cheese, avocado, and sour cream. Let me tell you how great their customer service is. One night, my mom ordered a burrito from Gomez and instead of putting steak in her burrito it was chicken. My mom was upset and called about it and they came all the way to her house and replaced the burrito and took the wrong burrito back. They came back because they wanted her to enjoy her meal. They didn’t harass her or anything. That is real customer service and some need to learn from them. Love you Gomez Taco’s

This south side greasy spoon has some items on their menu worth mentioning, their tacos and burritos. The burritos are of a monstrous size and the tacos have an authentic taste to them. other than that its your average fast food restaurant that sells multiple fast American cuisine; cheeseburgers, pizza slices, onion rings etcetera.

This is my «go-to» place for cheese fries in the ‘hood. A small serving is under $ 2 and ready in less than 5 minutes. Their menu has Mexican food as well as burgers, pizza, etc. Most people get their food to-go but there is a decent seating area. Staff is friendly and busts their arses. I was watching the woman working the pizza station through the windows and she was gettin’ it done. I also dig Gomez because they donate(good) food to our special events. Way to support the community!
