I recently worked with Goldie for a very important party and within a week I received my order delivered right to my door by her daughter personally! Her custom bouquets are true Artwork! Service is always fantastic! I never go anywhere else!

I walked in at 5pm running late for my girlfriends bday date and Goldie’s daughter was very helpful! She gave me flowers within my small budget and even gave me a Lilly for free! I will definitely be back and you should visit this shop!

I love the flowers here! I usually go to buy a bunch of hydrangeas. My last set lasted nearly 3 weeks. They were so perfect and beautiful! The owner is super friendly so I love going in there. This easily accessible and centrally located flower shop really has everything you could want from a flower shop. The owner (Goldie) is about as sweet of a woman as you could care to meet. Always pleasant and friendly she runs a great business providing gorgeous fresh flowers or plants for the Lakeview and Buena Park area.
The flowers are always top notch and the selections of plants and exotic species are always available at very reasonable prices.

Let’s just say I have never been able to make my wife as happy as the flowers from this shop do. ‘Nuff said.

Every time you step into Goldie’s you are greeted with a warm smile. The selection of flowers is amazing. I always see flowers that I am not familiar with and the staff can always help you pick out a nice arrangement. I think the prices are fair and I always leave satisfied with my flowers as well as the friendly customer service.

Goldie did our wedding last week. During the planning stage we loved working with Goldie because she was very attentive and listened to everything we had to say. We could tell she wasn’t just doing another wedding (she’s been at her current location for 16 years) but that she was genuinely interested in us and what we wanted out of the flowers. Now keep in mind I am a guy and don’t get excited about flowers but this is what I have to say about the wedding day:
My wife had brought Goldie a picture of what she wanted the flowers to look like. When my wife and her bridesmaids got their bouquets on the wedding day they were blown away because they looked exactly like the picture! Now, I know that an actual product never looks as good as the pictures because pictures are taken in studios and have to look the best but these bouquets probably looked even better than the picture.
Secondly the bouquets were huge. My wife saw the bridesmaid’s bouquets first and thought that one was hers because they were so big.
The reception room was absolutely beautiful because of Goldie’s hard work and strong attention to detail. I am pretty sure she even through in some extra flowers because the vases were just simply packed full and looked amazing. In fact I could barely pull the flowers out of one of the vases after the reception because they were so tightly placed.
I would like to make a strong recommendation that you come visit Goldie if you are planning a wedding in Chicago. I can guaranty you will not be disappointed!

The owner, Goldie, has been here forever and you can tell she is truly passionate about flowers just from walking in and ordering a dozen roses. I would make the trip from anywhere in Chicago to get my flowers from her!

Goldie has been my neighborhood florist for years. She is absolutely wonderful to work with and she really has a talent for making gorgeous flower arrangements. Of course I thought of her right away when I started thinking about flowers for my wedding. I could not be happier with the wedding bouquets and arrangements that Goldie put together for my September 1 wedding. They were simply gorgeous and as always, Goldie was a joy to work with. I highly recommend her for weddings and all other flower-​worthy occasions.

One of the best… no, THE best flower shop in all of Chicago. I use them for ALL of my flowery needs. My parties, gifts, birthdays and just for having gorgeous flowers in my house. They always have the best quality flowers and if they don’t have it in the shop they special order for me. I would NEVER go anywhere else!

I was the recipient of a beautiful bouquet of flowers from here. I must say it must have cost $ 150-​$ 200. It has my favorite colors and had about 5 – 6 different types of flowers. My biggest issue was the very next day they started to die. And about 3 days later almost all of the flower arrangement is dead. I guess I just would think if you can charge this much and it would look so nice it should be fresh and live at least a week. Its a shame because the arrangement was pretty but just died very quickly.

This woman deserves all of the great reviews she gets.
I called her from New York to deliver sympathy flowers for a death that occurred in a colleague’s family located in Chicago. Goldie was very accomodating from the beginning. We ran into a problem because the address and name I provided Goldie was not matching up. She was so diligent and had her driver try to deliver about three times to two separate addresses with no luck. Finally we found the name of the funeral home and there was still some issue with the name of the recipient and being that her driver had left for the day, Goldie herself took a cab to and from the location and personally delivered the flowers.
I can’t speak more highly of this business and would whole heartedly recommend.
I would order from her regularly if I lived in Chicago or she was in New York! :)

I had my wedding flowers arranged by Goldie’s Flower Shop — and they were absolutely STUNNING!!! I brought a few photo’s of arrangements to the shop and they were able to create my bouquet to be pretty much identical to the photos. My bouquet and all the other flowers were just perfect! I received so many compliments about the flowers. Thank you so much for understanding what I was looking for and providing the perfect arrangements. The day after the wedding my bouquet was still looking beautiful and fresh. I was able to dry my bouquet and it actually looks very rustic and romantic in a vase in my house. Thank you Goldie’s Flower Shop!

The owner of the flower shop sent me a message apologizing soon after I posted my review from my initial visit, which was appreciated.
This past valentine’s day I gave the flower shop another try, with much more success. The owner was very nice and helpful with creating my bouquet. Needless to say my girlfriend was extremely happy with her flowers.
I would recommend this flower shop. For special occasions, just because, or the infamous, I’m sorry bouquet, haha.
