Global Adrenaline

This review is a long time coming. Global Adrenaline helped us plan our honeymoon last fall. We were looking for a place that had both adventure as well as relaxing sites.
In the end we settled on Belize, 1 week in the jungle and 1 week on the coastal town of Placencia. The tours organized by GA in the jungle (Mayan Cave Hike, Jungle Hike) during the day were perfectly balanced with the FF Coppola eco resort’s amenities were memorable.
The transfers from airports were seemless.
Placencia is a little gem of a town with great cafes, restaurants and amazing scuba.
Couldn’t have planned a better honeymoon than the one Global Adrenaline set up for us.

Global Adrenaline (GA) planned an awesome trip to Machu Picchu and the Amazon for 11 of us. We debated whether to plan the trip ourselves or have GA plan it for us. I’m really glad that we went with GA.

* Everything was extremely organized. None of us had to think about logistics, and we spent all our time enjoying the actual Inca Trail, food, the city, the culture — the reasons why we actually went to Peru.
* The Guides — First off, our initial local guide got sick and was hospitalized. GA was able to find us a new head guide immediately. The new guide was just as awesome as the first. Secondly, these guides are not some Joe they hire off the street. These are highly educated and extremely knowledgeable guides. Ours was an ecotourism professor at the local university who has given talks in the US. Not only that, they were fun, had great stories, and got along with our group so well. My friend (who didn’t go with GA) but did the same trip did not learn nearly half the things that we did.
* On the day we had to depart for our 4 day hike, the government was shutting down roads for some strike that was going on in the city. GA was up to date with the news and made us leave extra early to make sure we arrived at our hike on time. If we did not, we could have gotten stuck in the middle of the strikes and not been able to hike the Inca Trail. (since they only allow a certain amount of permits per day)
* One person in our group got a intolerable toothache. GA and the guides personally found him a legitimate dentist and took him to the office during their off hours.
We had an extremely great and safe trip. I highly recommend GA if you are planning a trip internationally. They will plan the A to Z and have plans for the unexpected, which inevitably always happens when traveling.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Global Adrenaline. My mother-​in-​law loves to travel, but we worry about her traveling by herself in foreign countries. When we found Global Adrenaline, we were thrilled as they provided everything we were looking for in the way of a comprehensive, fun, educational, safe, and inspiring group trip for her. As we saw firsthand through the planning process, GA is detailed, efficient, and takes excellent care of their customers. My mother-​in-​law enjoyed a 10-​day trip-​of-​a-​lifetime through Turkey, from Istanbul to Cappadocia and finally to Bodrum along the coast. One month later, she is still talking about the amazing culture, gorgeous hotels, exquisite sights, delicious food, and historical tidbits she encountered along the way. Five stars for the service level, attention to detail, customer care and overall enrichment Global Adrenaline provides for those seeking additional passport stamps.

Fabulous trip through South Africa! Highly recommend Global Adrenaline for any and all travel plans. The company showed great attention to detail which allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about the logistics of flights, luggage, tipping, entrance fees, etc. The choices for the itinerary, hotels, and restaurants were all of high quality and delightful — and at a most reasonable cost. Very grateful for such a special, memorable experience. Could never have done it without their knowledegable and most courteous assistance, every step of the way.

I first went on a wildlife safari GA organized through the Serengeti. That was a trip of a lifetime that went off without a hitch. They did such an incredible job I later took my wife on a GA trip to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Again they organized a logistically flawless trip that we still rave about to our friends. On both trips their local staff were attentive and knowledgable and service oriented. If you are looking for an operator who will go the extra mile to ensure you have a trip to remember, then look no further than Global Adrenaline.

Global Adrenaline planned an amazing trip through Costa Rica. I was extremely busy leading up to the trip and Global Adrenaline made it simple. They sent ahead the detailed agenda and had hosts/​guides meet us at ever step of the way.
Their planning allowed me to relax and enjoy the trip.
If you go, be sure to do the overnight rafting trip on the Pacuare. Amazing food and unbelievable luxury in the middle of a river with no utilities.

This company booked our ground travel pre-​trip before we went on a National Geographic trip in Tanzania. They were severely lacking in knowledge and experience to perform their jobs, e.g., failed to follow-​up with information promised, mailed literature only to the person booking the trip and none of the other adults in the party, gave insufficient information about getting visas, and when we arrived, we found that 2 of the 4 places we were booked to visit were CLOSED! They are nice and smiley when you call, but they are insufficiently educated to manage trips to other countries or any challenges that require organization and follow-​up.

A group of us went through this company to help us plan our trip to Peru, specifically the Inka Trail, Machu Picchu and then a side trip to the Amazon. We weren’t sure if at first we should go through a company or just plan the trip ourselves. I’ll tell ya it was damn worth it to go through Global!
It was more than I expected cost wise for the entire trip (flights, hotel, trail, etc) but the convenience of having the trip planned and all the small details covered was worth every penny. It was stress free for the entire two week trip! Our group had the most memorable trip and couldn’t have gone any better.
Time to save up and get another group to go somewhere else now! Maybe Argentina or Chile? Africa? hmmmm.
