George V Bucciero, DPM

I have been seeing Dr. Bucciero for over 10 years for various ankle, foot and toe issues. Overall, I’ve had a great experience with him over the years. Bottom line — he has a lot of experience and knows feet. He has a lot of expertise and is able to effectively advise on alleviating pain and solving issues. The ladies in his office are pleasant and accommodating. Very efficient office with generally little wait time.

I’ve been a patient for 15 years. Dr. Bucciero has had orthotics built for me. His care is never extreme. He’s careful and skilled in minor foot surgery in the office. I love his professional demeanor with a sense of humor. Good diagnostic skills and never to extreme in recommending treatment.

I saw Dr Bucciero years ago (as in over a decade) and he was great. I sent my husband too. About 2years ago I went to see him at his new office for an ingrown toenail– he was rude and basically told me I was being a baby and should get bigger shoes and then the office proceeded to charge me over $ 200 for the visit! I thought of him today because my toe is still throbbing as it so often is — even in bigger shoes. I will find a new doctor with a high rating but it sure would have been nice to have it done and healed when I knew it needed to be done.

I came in on a recommendation. My toe had been bothering me for a long time. He barely glanced at my toe and started scribbling on his pad a 3 month prescription of the anti fungal lamisil. I would like a little information before just being thrown an antibiotic for 3 month’s is very hard on liver. He asked if I had insurance because my script would be expensive and was halfway out door before I had finished asking him questions about toe and/​or what he was prescribing. Bedside manner was just terrible. I don’t even think he was in the room for three minutes (more like two) and I didn’t even know if he was done because of how awkward the exit was. I literally had to sit there and then realized no one was coming back and my appointment must have been over. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

I also felt this doctor was inadequate. Even tho’ I was charged for an x-​ray, he never looked at it, barely looked at my bunion and immediately asked when I wanted to have surgery. Quick with the cortisone shot as well and that’s about it. I’ll find another doctor that will spend more time and give some options. I did not find his office friendly, welcoming or thorough.

Dr. Bucciero found the issue with my feet right away and treated it immediately unlike other podiatrists that I had tried. He’s terrific, he did rush me a bit, but that was okay with me as I can actually walk without extreme pain now!

Dr. Bucciero has a good bedside manner and a great sense of humor. He’s short and to-​the-​point and very clear in his directions for after-​care. His staff is very friendly and the offices are nice and clean. The best part is it’s easy to get same-​day appointments. I already recommended him to someone else looking for a podiatrist. The real hilarity of this office is it’s located in the Playboy Building. I once posted on my Facebook account I thought it was funny that my podiatrist office is in the Playboy Building and someone responded, ‘Um, hello, foot fetish?” Funny.
