History

Established in 2007.

Cristhian and Laura Garcia, founders of Gadgetech, have always been passionate about technology and staying on top of new electronic trends. As their hometown Chicago started experiencing the impact of the recession, Cristhian and Laura found a way to live their passion while helping their community save money during times of hardship. In 2007, while still working their 9a-​5p schedules, Cristhian and Laura opened their first electronic sales and repair shop in the North West side of Chicago where they operated solely on the weekends. As demand grew, they both decided to dive into their business full-​time and in 2009, Gadgetech moved to Brighton Park where they opened a larger repair center operating 6 days a week. Today Gadgetech is one of the top electronic repair centers in Chicago thanks to the loyalty of its customers. Their success has been built on a simple principle: Offer cost-​effective repair solutions and superior customer service.
