Was in Chicago for work, really enjoyed my bowl, super fresh, and honestly huge for the price of 11 bucks ! Very affordable for the product your getting in return, I couldn’t even finish it all! The young women who was working was super friendly really welcoming, Would certainly come back again!

Can’t put my opinion on any of the items on the menu BECAUSE WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY SERVICE!!! If you have business hours and have customers walk through the door maybe you should do more than just give customers «hey guys». We stood around for literally 15 minutes and we just saw the backs of the employees behind the counter the whole time. I wish I could justify them being busy, but it was us and 2 other customers in the whole damn place. Your menu has a handful of items. The least you could have done is take our orders while making the other orders. Not sure if these people were the owners or just on a payroll that did not enjoy being at work this particular morning. But stuff like this will not can not be good for business and I hope will either be adjusted with either new employees or or new ownership that actually cares about the revenue that just walked out of their doors. Good riddance. Never again. I’ll try not to even walk on that side of the block anymore!!!

What a Wonderful & Complete Juice Bar! Stopped in today after a Chiropractic appointment for my Favorite Superfood — ACAI. Ask Dominique for Acai with an Apple Juice base. Fantastic! The choices at Fruve’ xPress Juicery — Smoothies — Wellness Shots — Juices — Acai Bowls — Pitaya/​Dragon Fruit Bowls — a choice of approximately 20 plus Add-​ons — and Weekly Selections of Fresh and Organic Soups, Salads & Paninis are Phenomenal! There is something for everyone. Dominique & Staff are Friendly and Knowledgable, taking time to make sure you get exactly what you want. This is the Go-​To Juicery!!!

*GET — Green Bee ($ 11) = acai bowl with mixed berries inside and spirulina and banana, granola, and gogi berries on top (i asked with for No Honey); It seriously tastes like green goodness and you feel your body «thanking» you for filling it with awesome greens! It’s the perfect amount of sweetness and I would def reccomend if youre interested in changing up your normal bowl selection of a regular Acai bowl. The spirulina adds a green-​ier taste but its not too overpowering. Love the added crunch from the granola and the gogi berries!

This place is awesome! Dominique was great and made the best looking bowls I’ve ever seen! And they tasted amazing! We had the Green Bee, Berry Breezy, and the Mint-​Aya bowls and they all tasted soooo good!!! We will be back!

amazing. i’m from a small town in wisconsin, and i’ve been dying to come to a place like this. you can pretty much veganize anything! sooo good. i had the berry breezy acai bowl and it filled me up + gave me the energy to walk 2 miles. (: it tasted sooooo good too. ¹¹⁄₁₀.

This place is awesome! There can be a little trouble finding parking depending on the time of day — mostly metered parking. This place is close to CTA red line and several bus stops which is a plus! They have tons of vegan options and acai bowls (try the Balance bowl — Delicious!). The place looks clean and not super packed. I met the owner, who was very informative about food options and encouraged sampling of one of their soups. She seemed to helping another customer with her journey in becoming a vegan or vegetarian but took time out to greet others. Customer service here was great and I can’t wait other menu options!

Best Juice cleanse! I have had two cleanses from here and they are the freshest. I stay at the Chicago Hilton, and Dominique delivers two days at a time. I give her a few days notice when I order the week long cleanse. Her team is creative with their combinations. I prefer more green juices and she build a perfect cleanse.
I recommend her to all local and traveling friends. I just finished a 7 day cleanse and feel fantastic. The first day is the most challenging but the nut milk fill you up and make the second day easier.

After my workout at Xsports, I was looking for a healthy option for my post workout meal. I stumbled across Fruve’ Xpress Juicery. It’s a small shop that is located on the busy streets of Southloop. There are lots of meter parking, but I can never seem to find a spot.
The acai bowls caught my eye and I knew I had to give one a try. I opted for the «balance acai bowl» which is made up of acai, mixed berries, banana, maca cacao, and almond milk topped with granola, banana, strawberries, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, coconut, and coconut flakes. Everything about this bowl was delicious: perfect balance of sweetness and fresh ingredients. I ate the whole thing up without feeling one bit guilty.
The service here was extremely slow, but what can you ask for when they are preparing everything from fresh and raw ingredients? Definitely call ahead to avoid the long wait time (which I will be doing in the future). There were also many complaints about how expensive this place was, but the prices are very comparable to other juiceries. Living a healthy life doesn’t come with a cheap price tag. You pay for what you get. I am looking forward to try out some other items they offer. They all look and sound delicious.

Great place in the South Loop to get something healthy, filling and delicious! Smoothies are really good, and the Acai Bowls are amazing. So happy this is in my neighborhood:)

My favorite new addition in the South Loop! Great spot for the health conscious and trying-​to-​be health conscious among us. I do not at all get the people saying it’s «too expensive.» You spend a minimum of $ 10 or more on drinks downtown & points north — why is it too much to spend $ 10 on something that’s actually good for you? I really love the bowls (my favorite is mango) and the smoothies are always excellent post-​gym boosts.
I’ve done the juice cleanse and while I don’t «love» all the juices, I do know that they are all fresh and organic and healthy. Dominique the owner has done a wonderful job turning her small business into a destination location in the South Loop. It’s a small shop and everything is made from scratch, so there are times when there’s going to be a bit of a wait – I think it’s worth it & I’m happy to give her my business. You can also call ahead & have your order waiting when you get there. What can I say? I’m a fan. This location used to be a tanning spa that went out of business. I can’t think of a better repurposing of this spot than a place that is affirming, healthy and delicious. Good job, Fruve!

Omg this place is da bomb. Like da bomb dot com. The Balance bowl and the Green Mylk is where its at. So healthy!!! They do everything in house obviously and all the ingredients are fresh!
The girls working here are super knowledgeable about the products they use and the superfoods! They have a menu of all the superfoods they use with full explanation and benefits for each one!!!
The place is bright, spacious but inviting! I am so lucky this place is right by our house. :)
I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming here again and again!!!

I like this place. It’s on Wabash in the south loop. We came here after our massages to get the system truly cleansed! I ordered a shot of E3 live (I think) and the Popeye. My friend got the peachy kale and liked it too.
It’s s large, clean store with very friendly staff. There are limited choices for freshly squeezed juices but keep in mind they are already bottled.
Regarding the shot of goodness, I made sure i chugged it quickly without tasting it and followed it with my smoothie. My smoothie had mango, spinach, coconut, and pineapple. It was awesome.
We didn’t try any food or anything else. We sat inside on their tables and enjoyed our smoothie.
I enjoyed my first experience here and would definitely return next time I’m in the neighborhood and need some nutrition for my body.
Oh and the staff are very honest! I asked her if the shots are tasty and she told me nope you definitely may want to follow the shot with your smoothie. I like that! Thanks for not trying to convince me that grass tastes like sugar. I appreciated that.

Delicious, good for you, and the best in the area — thank you for giving the south loop this wonderful health option! I’ve started to go here after my workouts as it’s close by. Their ingredients are fresh and they have a great menu (smoothies, juices, salads, wraps, and acai bowls). The acai bowls are actually filling and come with a generous amount of toppings. Get the rewards card — every 10 smoothies/​bowls you buy you get one for free!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Everything is so fresh. It’s so hard to choose from the menu because every description sounds so great. If I could afford it, I would definitely be in here daily. It’s definitely a special treat and you feel rejuvenated when you leave. I tried the Berry Breezy açai bowl and the cashew milk. Can’t wait to go back. If you’ve never been, GET THERE ASAP!

The acai bowls are SO good and SO fresh! I want that for breakfast every single day bc it’s so delish and healthy! The juice is just as good, although a little expensive. $ 10 for a juice… it’s so good and freshly made that’s it’s kind of worth it though. My husband and I were able to share a juice and a bowl and walked away perfectly satisfied.

Two things happen whenever I come here: I’m made to feel really good walking in the door, and I feel even better walking out. If you’re wanting to make healthier choices with respect to your dietary intake, patronizing this business is an easy way to do it. It’s also pretty convenient that it happens to be located right outside my back-​door!
I am pretty clueless about organic, and the real health benefits of all of the ingredients this menu incorporates, but the entire staff is friendly, patient, informed and more than willing to educate you so you can make a wise and flavorful choice. The owners obviously take a great deal of pride in what they’re doing at Fruve’ xPress Juicery. The place is always spotless, the video wall overhead boasts relaxing digital images and the dining-​area music is calming.
The entire customer experience here is one of serenity and professionalism. It’s like just taking a few minutes out of your day to center yourself, and spoil your mind and body, which we all could probably stand to do more of. I’ve found myself bypassing the Five Guys next door increasingly of late, and I have absolutely no regrets.

I’d been hearing about this place and decided to give it a try. The juices and smoothies are completely organic and combine flavors you’d never imagine would taste so refreshing!
When you walk in, the staff always greets you warmly and, even with so much going on in making the smoothies, they always engage in friendly conversation. On my first visit, I was overwhelmed by what to get with the long list of offerings and their ingredients listed on the chalkboard to the right. I asked Dominique, so friendly and great at what she does, what she’d recommend with examples of things I normally like. Her recommendation was spot on, but not before she let me sample some leftovers of my friends’ smoothies to get a feel for my taste buds. How thoughtful, right?!
But it wasn’t just me! The guy in front of me had more smoothie leftover in the blender than could fit in his cup, so she asked if he had a minute to drink the rest and poured it in a [wheatgrass] shot glass (to be returned). I was totally blown away by this honesty system… you literally get all that you pay for!
On my second visit, I was the only patron in the store. Dominique was still very friendly and personable and she offered me a sample of a beet juice (beets, pear, lemon & ginger – the «Heartbeat»). She never once pressured me to buy it. She simply wanted to expose me to the juices they offer and I was thoroughly impressed!
Great new hip place with organic ingredients that reenergize you and gives a top notch customer experience. Certainly worth every penny.

Very clean and inviting space with a wonderful family running the establishment. The type of place you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in. The ladies at the front greet you with a smile and truly care about getting the right juice/​bowl for you!
Today I had the acai bowl with strawberries, granola and banana! I asked the lady at the front if all of the ingredients are organic and she said yes! That’s really exciting. A lot of places (like pealed on Sheffield) give organic vibes but have admitted to not being 100% true. My bowl was delicious and filled with flavor, worth every penny.
I see people here complaining about the price, but you are not taking into account that the cost to run an establishment in DOWNTOWN CHICAGO is expensive and so is FRESH ORGANIC PRODUCE. No where in the city has cheap organic smoothies… that doesn’t even make sense. Also as Chicagoans we should be supporting LOCAL FAMILIES and SMALL BUSINESSES as opposed to big corporations.

With sweet, but filling and nutrient-​rich smoothies listed alongside more types of grass shots than you can imagine, FruVe’s menu can satisfy a range of health food comfort levels. With the exception of the green, the cold-​pressed juices tend to be more fruit-​forward. The Vino combines grapes, lemon and ginger for a juice that is sweet, tangy and spicy all at once. Though it’s not listed on the menu, FruVe’ has also been serving a watermelon, mint and basil juice that is incredibly hydrating, sweet and herbal.
The menu is seasonal, and it appears the shop is still refining its offering. But for still being in its first weeks of operation, FruVe’ has already begun building its community; the owner makes customers feel welcome and makes every attempt to get to know them and their health needs. Juices are a bit expensive, but the shop is worth a visit for the inviting atmosphere and fresh juices.
