This is my hardware store. I use to live in the area, which is how I found it. I still go there even though I now live in another neighborhood. The owner is so helpful, very kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I go in there, explain what I need and they get it. They keep their prices low and pay the sales tax for you. They have almost everything and if they don’t, they know where you can get it and don’t mind giving you the information for another store. You can still go in there and buy a handful of nails or screws unlike Home Depot where you have to buy a whole box. The other day I went in for an adapter for my portable dishwasher. I had my 2 year old son with me who wanted to carry the bag. Knowing that kids drop bags, the owner took another small bag, gave it to my son and then gave me the adapter. It’s the small things that matter when I choose the place I frequent. I really can’t express how great this store is in a review, you really just have to go there and see what it’s like to have great customer service and get what you really need at a great price.

This is one of my favorite places. They have all sorts of necessary stuff in an old-time hardware store. I have gone in there with all sorts of nerd projects, and they have always helped me out. Their prices are less than the new Home Depot .5 miles away. Fronczak’s has the best service(and parts) whereas Home Depot has none.

This NOSTALGIC hardware store will have you screaming AUNTBEA I LOVETHISPLACE!!! This family owned business has been there ever since I have been alive! As soon as you walk into the place and step onto the wooden creaking floors you’re transformed back to a time when all was right with the world. I went to get a piece of glass to repair a window and of course they had it! THEYHAVEEVERYTHING! Any odd– strange item that you think you could never find anywhere this place has it somewhere in the archives! They’ll disappear and come back with exactly what you wanted. Along with my glass they gave me a SLAB of putty wrapped up in newspaper and all the corner wedges I need to put the window in. Just like the olden days! It’s not like going into Home Depot and having some pimple faced kid with his mouth open try to guess which isle to send you down! These people know the hardware business inside and out, if they don’t have what you’re looking for you aren’t going to find it — and if nothing else it’ll make you feel all nostalgic just being there! They’ve always been SOWONDERFUL I think when they close their doors I’ll feel a twinge of pain in my heart!
