History

Established in 1996.

Operator /​owner Cary Kiriazis was taught all aspects of the painting and plastering trade by his father, successful owner of K&K Decorating, in business since 1981. At the young age of 20, Cary took over the business in 1996, continuing his father’s legacy. Previously long-​time running ads in the Lerner newspaper provided residents and businesses in the north shore with a valiant service. Striving in service and quality, Cary continues to deliver a headache free and pleasurable experience in a field littered with others who have no compassion for excellence and reliability. In 2012, Cary incorporated the family business and renamed it Fresh Start Decorating, Inc.

Cary stepped foot into the painting industry in 1991, at the age of 15. His father was the owner/​operator of a successful painting business, K&K Decorating, established in Chicago in 1981. Working summers until graduating high school, Cary was schooled by his Father in the trade. This was a man who was a painter in his native country Greece since the age of 10. A man who in 11 years time, as a foreigner, became the superintendent of Barney Eckert, a union painting company in the 70’s. For all being said, a master of the trade was Cary’s teacher. This provided him with excellent painting and plastering skills, as well as customer relation experience. In 1996, Upon his first year venture into college, Cary took over the family business after his father was forced into retirement due to ill health. Since the age of 20, Cary has continued to build lasting relationships and provide customers with a service and quality that can not be matched. In 2012, Cary changed the name and incorporated
