Specialties
Exceptional escape room adventures ideal for families, corporate team-building and groups of friends looking for a fun and engaging challenge.
Teams of 2 – 5 have 60 minutes to accomplish a mission. During this highly interactive experience, participants have a complete escape from their day-to-day reality as they work against the clock to figure out the mysteries of the room. Each mission is designed so that no one person can do it all — nor can highly dysfunctional teams. Cooperation is critical. A team’s communication skills and collaborative performance are given the ultimate test under this pressure situation; group members rapidly learn each others strengths and weaknesses, something which might otherwise take months or years to uncover.
If you have played other room escapes, take note. Ours have two fundamental differences. First, your friends are the only people in the room; instead of being matched with 5 – 10 other people who you do not know, and never will meet again, our rooms welcome just your group. Second, the goal isn’t to unlock a room. That’s so 2013. You are saving the world. Or breaking into a bank. Or breaking out of a jail. (OK, we do lock you into one room, but at least that makes sense!).
Our customers love us. Isn’t it time you found out why?
History
Established in 2015.
In the beginning there was Myst. It was good. Then other computer games based around exploring rooms appeared, and they too were good. And then someone thought, wouldn’t it be interesting to explore a real room. And that was very good. And the exploration and escaping from real rooms spread across Asia. And Europe. And finally to America. And in particular, to Chicago. And it is called Fox in a Box — Chicago. And that game is very very good.
Meet the Business Owner
Vincent R.
Business Owner
Having worked on the internet for 15+ years, I needed a break. So, I took a year off with my family to travel Europe. And while there we came across our first room escape.
It was the best thing we did on the whole trip.
Returning to «real life», I realized that I did not want to return to the internet. I wanted to start a business. And I thought running a room escape would be a really fun business. And so I have brought this business to the city in which I was born, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
