I fun a non-​profit in the city in my spare time and to stay in good graces with all the regulatory agencies, i realized it would be in my best interest to meet with an accountant. the paperwork for small businesses/​non-​profits is very tricky (i think) and lengthy, confusing and expensive. i googled «non-​profit accountant chicago» and found jeff’s web-​site. the web-​site along is impressive — has software right on there for taxes, resources AND i could make my appointment online. i was really really pleased. he emailed immediately and we started discussing my foundation. after meeting with him yesterday, i just had to write a review right away. because my non-​profit is smaller and only a board of 4, i take on most of the duties with paperwork. i try to be organized, but i save everything, so when i met with jeff i had piles of papers from the state, attorney general, IRS, etc. he was nothing but patient, kind and helpful. took his time to go through everything i needed to do and didn’t try to oversell me. the best experience i have had with all the people i have to had to meet with regarding this foundation. i would recommend jeff to anyone.
