I wrote an 80,000 word novel and declared it finished on Labor Day 2014. Well, a little after that when it was time to meet with my editor, I realized the USB 2.0 was dead. I hadn’t looked at it in a while. The last time I saw it, it was in my laptop but I didn’t realize the green light had stopped flashing. I immediately panicked and thought hope was gone.
