Specialties
Fatso’s Last Stand has started with the concept of a hot dog stand and taken it to the next level. How? Well, add Charred Polish and Salami to the menu along with some Fried Shrimp and Homemade Mac & Cheese and Phil’s Last Stand is the new late night haven in the Ukrainian Village. So, for all those suffering from hunger pangs after living it up at the Chicago bar scene, stop on by Fatso’s Last Stand and end your night with some good eats after enjoying some good times.
History
Established in 2011.
Phil’s Last Stand marks the return of Chicago Fat Phil to the hot dog business. He dished out char dogs in Skokie four decades ago and has been inspired to return to the business he knows so well, teaming up with the owners of Lockdown Bar & Grill. It may be nostalgia or his insatiable appetite, but he is back and brings a connoisseur’s inspiration to the simple idea of a late-night hot dog stand. He still serves good old fashion char dogs and burgers, but he has added a few delectable dishes and has made Phil’s Last Stand the latest addition to the Ukrainian Village night life.
