Established in 2005.

Over the past 10 years Extensions Dance Company has taken great pride in the training in mentoring of numerous young adults who have gone on to top notch Universities and dance establishments across the country upon their graduation from High School. We have offered top notch dance training combined with numerous community outreach opportunities where dancers learn to love using their talent and their art for the greater good. Lizzie M.

Business Owner

Lizzie MacKenzie, formerly of Rivernorth Dance Company and Giordano is the founder and director of Extensions Dance Company and Dance Center. Her class was listed in Dance Spirit Magazine as one of the top 3 dance classes to take in Chicago and in August of 2002 she was featured on the cover of DANCE magazine. Her choreography can be seen on various professional companies, collegiate dance programs and youth dance companies. She has received countless awards for her choreography including the «New Voice» honor from Dance Chicago in 2006 and then the «Choreographer Of The Year» and has been recognized by organizations including Youth America Grand Prix, the A.W.A.R.D show, New York City Dance Alliance, American Dance Awards among others. Her students have gone on to collegiate dance programs such as The Juilliard School, Ailey Fordham BFA, New York University, Boston Conservatory, University of Arizona and Point Park University.
