Specialties

The philosophy of Eskell is deeply threaded in that of personal style. The idea that clothing is a chance to engage in life and self expression is one of the best things about being a woman. A woman’s wardrobe should be a creation of character shamelessly pulled from all alleys of inspiration. Eskell is about clothing that is feminine and classy yet always wanting to look modern and sexy. Eskell’s vintage inspired look always wants you looking into your wardrobe and thinking that you will have this to cherish in your closet for many years to come and retiring it to be a coveted piece of vintage to someone in the future.

Meet the Business Owner

Kelly W.

Business Owner

The original Eskell team was made up of Kelly and Elizabeth DelCastillo. Friends from high school which extended to their college years at Indiana University. Their shared passion of clothing details sewing and watching fashion from a far was only heightened in the small college town of Bloomington, Indiana. Trying to explain to friends their sewing woes and reasons (that clearly seemed made up) why they had to stay home and sew, instead of going to the typical college party on the weekends, only drew them closer.

Eskell was established in 2005 by the duo and from 2006 – 2011 they designed 2 seasonal collections a year. From the start, the focus of the brand was custom printed silk fabrics paired with simple cuts all tied together with their true love of great details. The Eskell brand has been featured at various national boutiques and larger retailers such as Barney’s, Steven Allen, Revolve Clothing, Fred Segal as well as internationally in Japan, Spain, France and Korea.
